Mark honestly is above that band. From Hamartia, BTBAM, and how he drove BYD.
I can respect Frankie getting frustrated over how he wants the musical direction of the band BUT his attitude over mark counting the song off incorrectly and acting like a piece of shit kinda solidifies the rumors how much of an asshole he can be.
ima side with frankie at the end.
Frankie and Fred Durst gotta do a deathcore rap song together. It’s a must
I do feel for Frank . Changing drums etc after vocals were written does ruin the vocal cadence , and it’s got to be re-written and recorded
I’ve had nothing but good interactions with Frank . Very quiet , respectful guy . Just has a vision and won’t compromise it
I kinda feel for Palmeri. I mean he is the lead man trying to get the band to its full potential, and despite what a lot of people say he is respectful and kind as far as i can tell. He got heated when his vision was compromised but who wouldn't? Thats how bands work things out, or dont. Hardest part of being in a band.
Fully agree. The best thing for a band to do when a massive line up change happens is to move forward.
17:41 SHINFOOOOO Nice ETID reference right there Frankie. I wonder how many knew what that was from. Can’t believe I’ve never seen this before.
yooo thanks for this
All I know is Emmure ripped off Carbomb. End of story.
Jesse is a cool dude, he’s got a RUclips channel now where he plays through a lot of old Emmure songs. I’m glad to see him active again.
Jesse is the homie!
Jesse a Tru' 7 String HOSS!! OG
That was a healthy argument at the end. I don’t see anything wrong
Goodbye to the gallows is top tier
Just reading between the lines on the new stuff and watching the video of the near death russian mic thing, Im team Frankie, is he an asshole? Yes, but he owns it geniunely. Everyones a fucking asshole least he knows what he is and I fuck with that In my Core
Little Frank is such a fuckin cornball. I'll never get over the time Vincent slapped the shit out of him. Most entertaining thing this band has ever been a part of
off the drums slave 🤣🤣
i love Emmure
So bassically Frankie just needs to write record everythig himself. Just fucking midi, sample replace, drag and drop, copy the music. Then hire people to tour/play the record. Thats the only way this shit wouldnt burn to the ground. No one is gonna wanna not have some sort of creative influence while writing tracking.
Facts
Frankie was the mastermind and enemy of this band… emmure’s first 4 was amazing… once everybody left it truly fell off. Absolutely disappointing
Yet they put out arguably some of their best material date and are currently in the over 1M monthly listeners Spotify alumni. What are you actually fucking talking about? Are you typing with your ass? Because you're clearly talking out of it.
Speaking of the Dead, Eternal Enemies, and Goodbye to the Gallows go brutal!
Personally I think fame went into Frankie’s head at the time. It’s not the same without the orinal members but i support Emmure still.
What dish was frankie eating at 7:09?
Looks like a kebab.
Im one of the thousands of people that smoked weed out of an apple with frankie palmeri
Dude fr?
Emmure songs are intense, good stuff amazing documentary
7:08 Frankie made that food look so yummy, I watch this whenever I’m hungry 🖤
What a bad place to end. lol what
Up until speaker of the dead, emmure was a band id listen to for comedy lol. It's crazy how far theyve come.
Frankie is obviously a musical genius. But he seems hard to work with.
as all geniuses are :/
Hell yeah.
All the fighting..This is typical band shit. I wanna know what tf went down in Russia that broke the group up.
the hotel aftermath...lol
@@ChristIsRisen33 what's the story with that
In the last 5 min you can really see why everyone left him in 2016 lol
Correct. Frank probably started being a dick on everything and basically he was a bigot when discussing something related to the band.
@@icheauxDude, did you seriously just use the word 'Bigot' to describe some sorta internal squabble? Do you even know what the word 'Bigot' means? You're a fucking genius eh?
@@mylifeonfilm262 I'm from Argentina and English isn't my native language.
Is the sound supposed to be off in the beginning?
I'm not sure because this is the only footage I've seen
It's old isn't it? like 10 years ago?
Yep, probably from 2013
The chemistry of the band was so bad. I can see why is completely fell apart. Frankie had a vision for the band and everyone else just didn’t see it. Since they left and Josh Travis stepped up, best music the band has ever done.
I would definitely say at this point that Frankie's vision for the band is turning into a "for better or worse" kinda deal. The potential built on look at yourself was almost completely curbed on the following album where Josh Travis was regulated to 0s, endless Korn and Bizkitisms that everyone, not just Frankie, need to let go of at this point, and resulted in Josh Miller leaving and now that we see what he's capable of in DARKO, the last emmure album should have been SO much better. the entire second half of hindsight just sounded like unfinished ideas released as A sides. Glass Cloud was a great band that dissolved in favor of Josh doing this so Frankie needs to let him write and shine more and bring that chaotic Danza energy. The Korn shit is played out.
I completely disagree i feel like respect issue and goodbye to the gallows are miles better than anything emmure has made in the past 5 years
Both of u are right lol I love both eras of Emmure and Im hapoy I got to live thru both of them
@@Leppyweppycouldn’t agree more.
@@Leppyweppy big time. Gallows and respect issue are arguably the only two albums this band put out that are worth listening to. Might have something to do with that pair of brothers that were in the band during that era
Lol frankie was such a bellend. He had so many good members in the band at the time and still felt he was bigger than them all. He had members from Bury Your Dead and Recon in the band at the time. You couldn't get better musicians for that type of band at the time.
Look at what happened now too. He lost the guy that would go on to form DARKO. Frankie holds himself back more than anybody else. Everybody wants to hear emmure ditch the nu metal stuff and become more Danza esque with Frankie's vocals on it...everybody except Frankie. If it turns out that "look at yourself" never gets topped and that's their peak, I won't be surprised.
being mean about playing drums incorrect... to the goat mark castillo LOL
@@Rob_Cary Pretty sure Joshua Travis is on record as saying he doesn't want to do the Danza stuff anymore, he wasn't having fun with it. So doubt that'll ever happen, unfortunately
so unfortunate... that was the Album / Danza 3@@christian_florez
I've smoked through a lot of things, but never an apple
I have you aren’t missing out
I won a victory records contest and got this dvd and i remember being disappointed it was cut short and that their was footage shown in the trailer not in the documentary.
I remember when this came out I couldn't afford to get the special album release with this DVD. I figured someone would upload it but I would constantly check and it never came to surface. So this is really cool to finally check it out
Wow Frankie was a certified douchebag
Oh shit. Hot take. You know what you don't see? All the bullshit he probably had to put up with. All those dudes quit. Did EMMURE stop? No. So, what does that tell you? Other than, clearly, the guy has vision. But, you wouldn't be able to conceptualize that, I'm sure, because you're literally a fucking bug in comparison.
Is this the entire doc? Seems way too short
I'm not sure, because on imdb it says that it's 1 hour long.
Bruh this is awesome
Half of the video is the band getting high and the other half is Frankie being high as fuck lmao
THX YOU FOR THAT BRO
So deadass I brought this dvd back when they where doing a special release of it a several years back on vinyl and the only way you got this dvd was if you got the biggest aka most expensive package for $120 you got a poster, tshirt, the vinyl and this dvd. and almost any emmure fan i met seemed to not know of this dvd or its contents and when i would tell people how frankie (one of my many vocal idols [strictly musically]) was a asshole behind the scenes but how the two times i met him (once at a warped tour and once a south by so what here in tx) and he was the coolest and down to the earth guy. and its just crazy to see both sides of the coin. anyways its nice to see this getting out and more people getting eyes on this! I still love emmure though and im loving the new sound/vibe on the new albums with josh!
He's probably affected by borderline personality? Or bipolarity? Or just drug abuse, I'm just assuming. Thanks for the story, it brings a lot of background since I'm from argentina and i didn't met him or anybody in the band
@@icheaux Honestly he doesn't seem affected by any of this. The video shows that he clearly had a problem with mark, and with the band in general when it comes to communication/general musical direction/decision making. He seems angry yes, but I've seen a lot of bands having a feud like that and honestly it's not the end of the world. At some point people just can't stand each other, that's the core of the problem to me. Frankie spoke a lot about this in recent podcasts and interviews, where he explains that "familiarity breeds contempt". At some point you can start a fight easily with poeple when you are stuck with them everyday at any moment, see what I mean ?
He legit does seem like a super cool and legit/down to earth dude. I don’t really hold the assholeness against him tbh, because it probably like one of those situations when your just around someone to much and every little thing they do starts to piss you off. I definitely understand where he’s coming from if that’s what he felt. I just recently got into Emmure, I only knew about their song “solar flare homicide” from like years and years ago but just started hearing a bunch of their stuff and wow they have some chunky headbangers. Fucking lovin it boys.
@@vincenttorchinsky7340 this is a very good point. Parkway Drive went through a similar problem and ended up receiving group therapy, which saved the band. I hope other bands can learn from that and learn to communicate their problems in a healthy way.
Bruh thanks for uploading this 🫡
My pleasure man
Would like to know what they are doing now...
Yeah, me too. They were supposedly starting a new project after emmure depart. I heard Jesse's band sometime ago but I don't know what about the other guys
This is what they did after Emmure: ruclips.net/video/w6Ax6LcX774/видео.html&ab_channel=AndrasX
Mike is in The Acacia Strain atm
@@icheauxI heard Mark (bassist) does audio engineering for a venue or studio related. Not too sure. Jesse I’ve talked to at times and I guess he lives a normal life now. He’s in his 40s now and I think he got married I don’t remember. Mike does the acacia strain and recon, mark (drummer) lives a normal life now.
@@EmmureMARIO64 Jesse was uploading some Emmure songs playthrough on his channel.
They probably weren't joking. Dudes probably annoyed by Frankie
They doesn't seem to be joking at all. The band was totally damaged atm
@@icheaux thank you for uploading! Couldn’t find the documentary!
Personally I think fame went into Frankie’s head. If drama didn’t happen, the original members would be in the band. I miss the old guys they were the nicest people.
