Watch cartervilles last drive. Carterville declines the penalty. Making it 3rd and 8 but they told the chains it was still second down. The 4th and 5 inadvertent whistle was actually 5th and 5. West Frankfort won the game. Carterville should not be celebrating. IHSA need officials. The quality of this game was awful. You even say it’s 3rd down and 8 then go. It’s 2nd down and 8 lol. 6 plays to get a first down smh

Trying to watch but unable to

I'm so conflicted as a Rochester alum but I have my connections to Southern Illinois and especially Carterville with my nephew playing. Should be a great game!!

Rochester is one of those teams that doesn’t care about time of possession they want to score fast and often. If Carterville’s D doesn’t get worn down from the pace it should be fun to watch

SHG is winning that game easy. For 4A in the 8 class level I don't believe I've seen a more athletic team. I'm sure Ken Leonard will also be back this week coaching. I got Rochester vs. SHG once again in the semifinals. Dad vs. Son for the final time.

Hey Dave. I grew up in Carterville and Graduated there in 1990. I also played football there as well. I want to thank you for posting all the games. I always wanted to go back to watch a game but living in Europe make it a bit difficult. Now I can watch and cheer for the lions from across the big pond. Thanks again!!!
