Oahu Hawaii Fireworks From Airplane, Aerial View on New Years Eve
Had a special flight as we exited the island of Oahu. Hawaii goes all out for New Years Eve celebration. The firework show was spectacular from the sky. The entire island was lit up. Sorry for the bad quality the double glass and rain oon the windows made it blurry. The ironic thing is fireworks are banned in Hawaii. We took off from HNL at 12:05 2025 so had a great birds eye view of it.

Stereo and Record Player Restoration with Barn Installation
Nice video! So I'm thinking about buying the same car stereo. Is it good?? Or you're having trouble with it?
I love it
ok so I got a new water pump but it is still doing the same thing. I plug the washer in and it starts to buzz sound.
Did you install the water pump?
But try turning the knob 4X counterclockwise til Soak, Wash, Rinse, Spin light up and then run that test. Then exit diagnostic mode and run a load. You can also try to open and close the lid quickly 7X after unplugging and plugging it back in. See link at end of video.
@@rustedpliers1618 I put in a new water pump. Now when I plug it in you can hear the board click then the pump comes on for about two sec then goes out. Then the pump comes on again and just stays on. I have to push the start button until it goes off. Once it is off I tried to put the washer in diagnostic mode once I turn the knob all the lights come on and the sensing light flashes. I can push the button the sensing light comes on and starts to fill but pump is running too. Has to be the board that is bad?
Excellent video. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Did you retain the factory mic?
I just used the one built into the head unit. It's just OK. Gets the job dont but if your going to be on alot of calls may want to get a better mic. The mic that you plug into the aux isn't any noticeable difference than the one on the head unit.
A last a proper and clear, (Good steady clear video shots) well explained video showing how a job should be done!
Thank very much for the support! I appreciate the comment.

Great video thanks
Thanks for the comment ! I hope the video helped you.
For everyone that is confused why they have no sound, if you have the Bose sound system there’s a factory amp that runs the sound to the speakers. The setup isn’t the same. There’s a black and pink wire in the factory harness that needs constant power (for the amp). Then there’s the part where you have to run the sound to the amp so it can deliver the sound to the speakers, I haven’t figured that out yet, but figured I try to save you guys some pain if you’re not hearing anything either.
Thank you I didn't encounter this so I don't know the fix. My system was just the standard speakers so I'm not sure how to respond to comments like this. I have posted some harnesses in other responses that may help
Update, there’s a separate harness for the Bose that is just the speaker wires that go to the amp. Take the output rca cables from the aftermarket radio, split them into two and then I got these little speaker wire to rca adapters with screw plates. It the factory amp speaker harness has 10 wires going into it and there’s a bunch of prongs coming out. It’s a pretty small connector. On one end there’s a red and green, on the other end there’s a purple and light green. Hopefully this helps.

@rustedpliers GREAT video......BUT.......what about accessing ALL of the "set up" features that were on the OEM radio? And what about available replacement radio options 2+32 - 4+64 - 6+128 - what are those differences? Thank you for a reply.
Not sure what your talking about. I didn't have any special setup features on my oem radio.
@@rustedpliers1618 what the OEM radio "hard buttons" did, to navigate to the set up pages....."vehicle customization", vehicle settings like door locks, climate control, lighting, etc
@rustedpliers1618 where did you get the carb?
amzn.to/4ik5TEz Plan to post the video of the carb replacement sometime.
Do both cook evenly if they cook together
Yes. If they are the same size. Always check you temp with a thermometer though.
Hey, so I have the exact radio. I followed your camera setup and wiring to a T, but when I put the car in reverse. The camera is not coming turn on, I don’t get that screen you did. I double checked all my connections and it’s good. Any advice?
Thanks for the comment sorry your having trouble. I would recommend instead of using the reverse light, test the camera and your connections by putting your rear wires (black/red) on the car battery to see if it comes on. Turn on your car, then touch those to your positive and negative. You may have to get someone in your car to see if it swaps over. Or record a video from inside the car to see if it goes into reverse. On the stereo side make sure your trigger wire is on the one that says "back" then your yellow rca on camera. Flip the connection of the clip on the connector that has the single rca on back of the radio. It may go both ways but only one is correct. If that doesn't work, you can try your yellow rca on "video out".
quick question, will this stereo still work with the SR model with the Bose audio system? the Bose system comes with a built-in amp so im not sure if it will work. Great video though!
Not completely sure but you may be ok using this harness. amzn.to/3APRmQg Here are some threads you may want to ask them. www.nissanclub.com/threads/switching-bose-head-unit.518911/ www.altimaforums.net/posts/551632/
You really should show the connections that what people are having trouble with, not how to plug in GPS and jumping around to other things that are obvious or easy to figure out. What about if no sound comes out?
I can't show what happens if no sound comes out because that didn't happen.

My numbers are going out. Thanks for the video great watch!
Thanks for the comment! Mine were the same way. On a hot day, I wouldn't have any display.
@rustedpliers1618 exactly. Only time I see display is during winter. But once car heats up it's barely there.

This is awesome, about how long do the battery packs last?
About 4 hrs.
does it have the part to plug in subwoofer rca cable ? or just backup cam ?
I think so because I didn't use most of the rca Jack's provided
Black locust
Thorny Black Locust is it. Thanks for identifying it. Now I just got to find a way to get rid of them and keep them from spreading. Those thorns are a literal pain in my side.
@@rustedpliers1618 Cut them low and keep the area mowed. Sometimes a thorn remains in one’s side.
What about steering wheel controls for volume and changing stations? Are those functions retained?
Mine didn't have steering wheel controls but it should keep them. What year is yours? I did one for a 13 - 18 nissan altima and the steering controls still worked great. This was the radio used for that. amzn.to/4dua7Wz
@@rustedpliers1618 '07. I just asked because it's a common question and we'd like to keep that functionality. Some after market units come with harness adapters to retain the feature. With others, it's an extra purchase.
Sorry quick question, how do you connect all the rca cable to the old radio connector?
Dual purpose. Gate and mud remover.
Just remember you gotta come back out after you finish the field.
Might just leave it til next season HA.
@@rustedpliers1618 I've been guilty of that
Great install video!!
Thanks! Hope it helps.
@@rustedpliers1618 it definitely did, I installed it today and I LOVE IT
Wow so cool!
Good video. Do you have the schematic on which wires are the speaker wires? Thanks
I never could find one.
@@rustedpliers1618 do you remember what color wires you used for the speakers? Did you happen to take down the headliner? If so -- where are the snaps or screws for the liner?
Great job!!!
Wish i had access to one of these, im stuck with good ol fashioned machete and rake lol
Most of the time that's what I use too. You can do alot with a good pair of loppers.
Very very helpful.
I appreciate that feedback!
Why won’t mine pop on when I turn my car on did everything right but not working
The entire screen won't turn on?
Where did you get the right-angle bracket?
A coffee can in my garage haha. It was just a hinge that I glued in place. I don't really use the offline gps bc if I use maps, it is connected to my phone.
@@rustedpliers1618 got you. Maps it is. How is the radio performance so far?
@@kevo8111definitely an upgrade having android auto and Apple car play.
@@rustedpliers1618 awesome. Thanks for the response
Would the placement be the same on all cars? I have a RAV4
Yes
Where can I find a wiring diagram for the remote? Remote fell off the back of the ATV wires pulled out of the starter and PTO no idea where the wires connect to.
I couldn't find one. Awhile back mine wouldn't start. Nothing when I went to crank it, even on a hot battery. I took the plate off that has the dirty hands logo behind the tow bar. One of the wires had corroded and pulled apart. I spliced it back and it started right up. I would recommend checking there.
are your door speakers still working.
Yes. I've had this happen a few times and it hasn't damaged the speakers.
I am installing on my 5055E. Where are speakers located?
They are already there in the cab. I'm surprised it comes with speakers and not a factory installed radio.
Very informative video, I didn't realize these tractors even had an internal oil filter..wonder if my 8N has one like that? As an aside, I have noticed several of these tractors listed for sale on Marketplace listed as "Massive Fergusons"..I wonder is that is some type of AI generated typo, or are people really thinking that is what they are?....
I'm sure the 8n has a hydraulic filter as well like this. That is probably an autocorrect but may be a scam bot.
If I wanted to go further than clearing the land or grass and shrubs. Additionally would I use a tiller or sod cutter to gravel the land beside the brush hog....
Thanks for your very nice video.
Thank you for the reply hope it helps!
Is this stain oil or water based please? No issues with chipping or peeling? Thanks!
Cabot Deck Correct is an oil-based paint. It is an aliphatic petroleum distillate. Mine has held up pretty good after a year, though I have read other reviews of people complaining about peeling.
yay!! it worked!! you definitely owe a big THANK YOU!
You're welcome!
Hi
Great video! Quick question, what hydraulic fluid do you use? Thx
M-1129A or equivalent. Look on the bucket and see if it is listed.
MF 135 here(not sure the year). One year after brother in law died when he flipped it on himself, I finally got around to seriously trying to get it running again and drove it half mile or so to get it back to his property. Been on cousin’s all this time. Complete novice on tractors but it’s finally home on his 47th birthday. Being that it was flipped for 3 or 4 hours, everything ran out. No hydraulics available so had to leave bottom plows (for now) and couldn’t get out first gear. Can I likely just fill and check hydro fluid to get that part to work.
Sorry to hear that story about your brother in law. Alot of people who aren't around this stuff don't realize how difficult and dangerous it is operating the farm equipment that feeds the world and takes care of our lands. The next tractor I buy will have roll bars as a precautionary. Checking the fluid and adding some if needed would be a good start. It has to have enough fluid to run through the hydraulic pumps.
@@rustedpliers1618update: tractor runs pretty well right now. hydraulics seem to be in order. It was actually stuck in second gear, but after watching RUclips videos, I was able to prior gear over and took care of that so all 3 gears and high/low working. I think it’s a middle 70s model. At sometime I would like to change that fluid filter. Where would I get that filter and gasket for the PTO opening plate? And maybe the dipstick since the other one must’ve fell out or never was in there in the first place when he was driving it. When pulling that plate, is it difficult to get that selector in position and reattach the plate? Have done some brush hogging but after a while, it gets a little hot, so I’ll have to diagnose that. In the field when it’s dry, it picks up a lot of crap in front of the radiator. Definitely learning a lot with yours and other’s videos.
Back in the day here in the west of Ireland we used have a hole lot of serious roll over accidents till the law was changed, in that you had to have a roll bar for any road travel, like travelling from one part of the farm to the other by road, wasn't required on your own private land, but when the road guys installed roll bars everyone else followed suit, and roll over injuries mostly disappeared.
You're awesome...thanks
Your welcome maybe it helped. I appreciate the comment!
Regular push mower would work just as well
Ok Sure.
Does the 1022 only require 0.6 L of gear oil?
I checked the manual for the cutter bar oil and the 1017 holds 2.4 Liters, the 1022 holds 2.9 Liters, and the 1024 holds 3.1 Liters.
@@rustedpliers1618 My manual for my DM 1024 calls for 2.2 L for the cutter bar, printed June 2020.
Interesting, I double checked my manual and it says what I have above. it's probably printed 2017/2018. It also says you can check with a dipstick til theirs 1/4" to 3/8" of oil on it.
Self propel forward only? Or does it have reverse?
Forward and reverse are self propelled.
An experience I found from someone else with similar issues "I have a LA145 that Has 715 hours on it and lately it started slowing down almost to a stop on hills and would speed back up when the ground leveled out. The belt was replaced back in the spring. After watching countless videos about this symptom I bought a rebuild kit from the hydrostatic transmission and installed it Last weekend. Bled it out and jumped on it and guess what? It was doing the same thing as before. What it ended up being was the pulley on the input shaft. It wasn't stripped but it was badly worn in the v. I replaced it this morning, and now it climbs those hills like a billy goat! Just wanted to throw this out there for other viewers to see before they shell out $476 on a rebuild kit when a $21 pulley was all it was."
