How I learnt the kashakas!
Просмотров 4,5 тыс.3 месяца назад
This is the start of a short series on how I learnt the kashakas, or should I say “learnING”- there is always more to learn!
❤️❤️
Very few things could make me happier. Thank you!!
We love it!
Maisie, the kashaka queen!! 😎
Great videos! Would love to see a tutorial on how to play the african 6/8 bell pattern on the kashakas!
I love how this takes an educated musician in both theroi and practical to learn and play something like this. And then theres some African kid who can also hit every beat but doesn't know 9+10.
This looks incredibly challenging
Where do I buy?

Não é o instrumento é mesmo o teu rosto que hipnotiza 👏👌
Não sei se o lindo que hipnotiza es tu, o instrumento que usas ou o som! Mas… ❤❤❤❤
Awesome video I just got a set of kashakas absolutely love them thanx for the inspiration
If you make your videos "for kids" like your most recent upload, it stops people from commenting, sharing, and saving them to playlists. Just so you know! I'd like to save it to a Playlist for reference but I can't!
Hi!! What about the size of the cord?
cool!!
Wowwww!
Every video you get better 🙏 respect

Ordered a pair of kashakas based on one of your other videos. Really like the strong sense of rhythm here. (And the confidence.) Great stuff.
Qu’est ce que t’es belle 🥰
Amazing !!!
You are perfection.
I love this
Impressive, the kashaka coordination..
123 123 123 123 123 🎶🎶 🎶
Okay, she's a Master with the kashakas, and has a great sense of rhythm, and she's also very very easy on the eyes.
Nice !!!
Can you go into more detail please?? Thank youuu
Awesome polyrhythm! These polyrhythms tickle a part of my brain where I would listen to them just in the background of my day to day life if I could. Like if there were an kashaka/asalato polyrhythms to study to, that would be perfect. Love your stuff! Keep it up.
Im better
I just bought some 😊 annoying new hobby here i come 😂
You are doing very well. Keep it up. Have you watched Yowie on youtube?
probably a good idea to get a pair with 2 different colored "balls" for this demonstration. I have a pair that's black and orange and it makes it really obvious that they are switching when i do an air turn
Hey, great video! I've been following your work on RUclips and Instagram for a bit now. You've really got it down. Could you recommend a good pair of Kashakas to start out with? I looked up on Amazon but I'm not sure which ones to order.

I can imagen the face of someone who loves music but have zero knowledge for structure in music.... the skill to do 1 2 3 4 only slow is hard but this kind of stuff makes people think that something is wrong but I like it hahahshaha... keeping that flow is sooo brain stimulating!! 👏 👏
I'm loving these kashaka grooves! Let's hear more.
Just found your channel and Instagram this is brilliant and as drummer myself i definitely have to get some of These and try some funky groove's 👍
HI Maisie, you take my heart❤ Do you have boyfriend?
First you impress us with the incredible compound time groove of the cashakas, but now the beautiful three part singing. I'm loving it; please give us more!
Ok, now I am a little bit more interested in learning to play kashakas!
Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m a man of wealth and taste.
