Got it!!!!! Thank you!!!!
Well, as much as I love the little thing, daily cleaning it looks way too stressful. I think I’m going to switch to my other thermos (since I don’t need to travel with it).
thanks for the video, i was missing the second spring that went flying out wihout me noticing it. I just found it in the floor!
Literally saving me with this video thank you and your daughter!
I'm glad you made this video, it half saved me since one of the springs of the cap is gone but now that I know I'm able to search a replacement much cheaper than another bottle
You dint show how to open it..??dismantle n show pls
Thanx boss
Specs... It's 4ft in length , the front 6*6 is 3' wide , the back 6*6 the bucket rests on is 2' wide and the height does matter....it needs to slip under the BH frame. It's 9" high, you might be OK at 8.5"
dude you're a hero thanks
THANKS SO MUCH. Yes, the springs fly off!! No diagrams of the lid contraption anywhere, I then found you. I had to watch the spring part about 15x but finally got it right. Love this thermos, thanks again.
Thanks for the video! Helped me fix the cap after my toddler threw it on the floor.
Oh, I think I’ll take this apart to make sure it’s clean inside...boing, springs flying everywhere...Never would have put this back together without this video. Thank you. Great Job.
Do you feel this is a one six pack job or a two six pack job?
Yes it would be good to have strong abs... And a case of beer 😎
Nice setup and build. Seems far more durable than the dolly versions. I have another question on dimensions - why is it critical that the length be not too long? I just bought a 260B and its still at the dealer.. so wanted to make the dolly before it came home.
Well for me, I just wanted to be as small as it could be so I made it so that with the backhoe folded up all you had to do is lower it and it landed on the back bar as opposed to making it too long and you'd have to actually extend the backhoe and then lower it... if that makes sense.
Thanks for this video. It helped me a lot to fix my flask cap.
Base on your style l also wanna try out on my bike tyres but then just wondering do l necessarily have to deflate the tyres or can l do while it's in inflated too?
Flip the blade and cut in some siping
How does the 260 backhoe function with the 9.5gm pump? I found myself running a lower rpm on stock setup to avoid jerky controls. Hoping the increased flow makes it run smoother than the stock pump. I’m curious how all this increased flow works on a 260 compared to the newer 260b with better controls
The controls are still the weak point. I can't compare to the new one, since I have never run one. Here is what I would say...If you are good with the BH stock , you'll be better with the HydroPlus. I ran it for 2 hours at full RPM if that tells you anything. I wanted to see if anything would fail. I had a small leak at the only NPT fitting on it and fixed it. If your bad with it stock...The HydrosPlus will improve you, since you'll have your multiple functions and be able to run at lower idle. But if your constantly banging , you'll still be banging at faster speeds. I find it to be much better. I can swing the bucket over and dump it, and swing back almost in one motion. The FEL works really well as the SCV is like butter and responds so well. I wish I had a vid up using the BH but I only used it for 2 hours...Just have ton of other things going on. Including fitting a diverter kit, beside a single point. I also got the kit at the lower price, so at the price it is now, I might only get the kit, and get the pump later. I am happy with mine , but I can't review it until I have at least 10 hours on it...that will maybe be another couple weeks. I
Looks good Chex. With the cost of lumber today, that probably cost more than the BX cart. 😁
Yeah I took a deck apart like 10 years ago and I have an enormous pile of pressure treated lumber in my backyard so it only cost $25 for the casters.
What size blade did you use? Thanks!
I'll go look, I forget what was in the kit. It was short enough to not go in the tire...lol EDIT: Ok the blades are bent pieces of metal...They are all the same size. You can slide them in or out and then tighten the tabs that hold them in place. You could go from about 1/4" to 3/4" the one I used stuck out about a 1/2"
Thank you so much! This is very helpful
Does that make a pretty good difference for traction? I am NOT a fan of the R4 tries that come standard on almost all the equipment these days.
Yeah it did. I would slip backing up my drive, this gave just enough extra purchase to avoid slipping.
Thank you very much. Please show method to open.
how is the power? was it a bolt right in? thinking about doing the same thing
It wasn't bad...You want to measure the old pully before pulling the engine and as long as you get the HF in the same place it works great. It isn't an Onan...but it is more than enough for mowing and it uses about 1/3rd the gas. The Redsquare forums have many threads on this swap or the bigger HF. I di not think I needed to spend the money on the bigger one. This one was $300 with coupon.
Very useful video, thank you so much!
Thanks! Same issue - if you hadn't posted this I might not have believed it!
Hi chex313 - those Wheel Horse garden tractors are so amazing! I remember that was the tractor everyone really wanted. We follow Tractor Time with Tim and saw your comment there. We'd really appreciate if you'd give our channel a look if you're not already one of our subscribers! Thanks in advance.
Just subbed, about to check out some of your other videos! I think that you deserve way more views. Did you ever think of using followsm . c o m?! It will help you get your videos higher in the RUclips search results!
thank you so much chex313
Ran it for 3 hours for break in.
Would you mind sharing the dimensions...?
Sure... The height of the wood is 5 in ,The casters are 4 in high for a total of 9 in. And that is dictated by whatever tractor you have It needs to just fit under the back of the backhoe. The width at the front is 24" and The width at the wider end is 36" in and the overall length is 48" and 3/4 or call it 49". If you go to Green tractor talk there are a lot of us who have built them in many different varieties in many different sizes so you might find one that suits whatever materials you may have. The materials I had dictated what I built. And the casters are a thousand pound I don't remember what I paid I either got them from harbor freight or home Depot.
Great - Thank you - I have the JD 260B on the 1025r - I am figuring about $70 in materials - 4 casters at about $ 15 each + good quality wood, screws etc - Comparing that to the Bxpanded dolly for $189 which is light weight and can hang on a wall - I don't take off the BH very often so storage space is always a concern. Hmmmmm debating on which way to go - Thanks Chex313 for your help...
the first part is hard to removing
You just saved my ass, thank you so much!
Looks good 👍
thank you so much for this video. it's really a big help
THX this video helps a lots
Do you have any measurement of the or a plan to build one?
I just guessed after looking at others . Than I shortened it ....again after looking at others. I used scrap lumber laying around and spent $20 on 1000lb casters at HDepot. It's 4ft in length , the front 6*6 is 3' wide , the back 6*6 the bucket rests on is 2' wide and the height does matter....it needs to slip under the BH frame. It's 9" high, you might be OK at 8.5"
Thanks chex313 - really useful to know how those pesky springs fitted!
This video saved my life lol. I thought I broke my dad’s thermos but after researching on youtube this was the only video that showed how to take it apart and put it back together. Which I am incredibly thankful for.
Angeles Bravo glad it helped!
same! my husband's. not finished fixing jt yet.
Geez I couldn't even watch for the terrible music
Used lots of penetrating oil...
who is the jazz group playing? (also kool vid)
Yep, I agree. A snowblower would be the way to go with all that you have to do. That's a long driveway.
Thomas, it was $5300. The drive is around 210' long. Not sure of the square footage.
Just curious how much did that cost and about square footage, looks nice
The FEL isn't the best solution...but it can lift the snow up out of the way. Wished it was wider. Snowblower would have worked better. A plow may have run out of room. Plenty of power to push the old snow back some. Another fun day on the 1026R!
