    possible problem is when you install, would you jack up new pan also? if you do, which means no gap between lower pan and upper pan or over torqued the mounting. when you remove jack, will the RTV get back to the gap? thx

    Thanks for the video Ivan. This will really help me cause I also have an oil pan leak on my 99 GS400. I normally use Permatex with any oil or transmission pan work. But I heard it's best to use FIPG from Toyota vs Permatex. Frankly, I think the quality is the same but I was just wondering if yours had no leaks with Permatex since you did your oil pan?
