That’s ironic because I think We Stitch These Wounds was and is their best album. Ashley Purdy thinks he is some 80s glam rock sex god when in reality he’s a weird looking, lower than mid of a bass player with an inflated ego. Andy should’ve kicked Ashley out of the band the second he doubted them.

I've loved Bvb since high school their music helped me more than they will ever know. I'm so grateful for them

I met Ashley in Sayreville when they played starland ballroom and had to cancel due to Andy being sick. The band knew they were canceling but did not tell anyone. But Ashley had come off the bus and met with fans and took photos he did not come off the way people make him out to be he was super nice and even waited so my friend could grab her camera from the car.

I always thought he was kind of a weird guy and wasnt good for the band, lonny is great. And ofc most of us dont know everything that happened but its just a gut feeling. Glad to see how well theyre doing.

Went through hell and back during the Vale era. It felt like the end of an era, possibly the end entirely. And thank god for Lonny. He brings a great energy to the band and they all seem so much happier these days

Everything that has come out of this band has been better and better. I'm do happy Lonny exists. I used to have this massage crush in Ashley Purdy and I don't really think he's that talented now.

LITERALLY SO REAL

I remember listening to the last song on vale and I literally wanted to start crying. The only song from Vale that I actually liked was When They Call My Name. Because it hits me hard.

I always wondered about the fact that we go through changes. But it comes back around. The band in my mind was like a power house like kiss in my era ! Seen them live thanks to my daughter they helped us bond and get through some dark times for both. I have work related c-ptsd 👨🏻‍🚒🚑 but my daughter was bullied and made fun of for many reasons ! Bvb can & will be an icon. All great musicians !! 🤘🏼

I always felt like Ashley thought he could take Andy’s place and be the main singer I think he was extremely jealous of Andy and wanted everything Andy had and wanted to take over Bvb

I have past experiences with Ash and andy both and can say he's not at all a good person. I dont talk about those experiences, but let's just say it put me into therapy. Ashley abused me physically and mentally when we dated briefly in 2016, i was 18, the man groomed me plain and simple, and it made me sick to my stomach thinking about it. I dont date sense, and i dont trust men. Edit: This MFEr just sent my engagement ring. I mailed back to him, back to me thru a friend...wtaf?! I dont want it!

Love the old stuff and still listen to it now , takes me bk to teenage days where we were freaks n outcasts and made our own clothes and improvised certain clothes .. those were the days drinking and parties n heartbreak and emotional wrecks but id love to see them still bc they grew up as well with us and his music is beautifully dark and amazing ❤❤❤❤❤

Now that I’m older and I understand more why this vale album 💿 was sad and not just there .. like the whole band it’s self was just not there cus of … Ashley like … it wasn’t the same but now I know what I know now um.. I’m beyond happy that bvb is still together still a band and thank god for Lonny like he brought back the good energy and the good vibes for Andy and bvb in general so happy that the band is doing better than ever and I just seen them live and met them on May 4th greenbay WI 2024

Im curious who of who is gonna feature where after the mega succuss that was the Trinity Of Terror. The easiest fit I think would be Andy and Chris on an INK track since is pretty much a solo act. But, with a new BVB album a few months out maybe there?

I honestly am disappointed in myself that I fell off from Andy after the Self-Titled. I have nothing but respect for him. It was a show of his and the guys ten years ago that first got me to mosh, and it was a show of his last night that got me to ignite some pits, his lyrics gave me validation as a teen and helped inspired a lot of my art style, the fact he still is a decent man and was willing to cut the cord with a creep he used to call a friend gives me infinitely more respect .

I've listened to both bands for well over a decade now and never once heard about any issues between them until now. Never seen any comments from fans hating each other or the other band, either.

I wasn't a big fan of the Vale album. I've seen a few things Ashley posted over the years when I was still regularly following and listening to this band, and he always seemed pretty weird to me. As soon as I heard the songs released when Lonny came into the band after Ashley left (The Night EP), I knew that Ashley being gone was a big reason why the music started getting better again, and the most recent album is much better than Vale was. The newest song they released (Bleeders) is a pretty great first song for the next album, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad they axed Ashley and continued going, cause the current lineup is easily their best.

Makes sense i kinda noticed the beef in interviews back then..i didnt feel that way as a fan i liked both bands tbh and alot of my friends loved both bands so did i ..and now that ink has been more popular recently i listen to them also but they werent as popular as bvb and miw but i still liked their songs back then and now.. but when i went to the trinty terror the first one i went to i was stoked that they all three were going to be together tbh it made compelete sense to me...and im glad yall burried that hatchet cause i was also wondering why in interviews seemed there was a battle royal over lead band ♥️ ♥️ ❤️ i support all three bands and tbh bvb is what first got me into thia genre along with escape the fate back then but i love so many genres now adays i mean i still even support bmth I remember lmao so embarrassing 😳 but also not I had bvb and andy sixx and 666 with batman all over may softball gear back in middle school😅

Kinda late to this party, but while I personally don't have experiences with Ashley, I have friends who do. What their experiences entail, I'm not at liberty to say. But the gist of it is that he's not a good person (and that's saying the least). Meanwhile, I did have run-ins with Lonny, and I have nothing but good things to say about him. Best addition to BVB by far.

We all knew what Vale meant and I think BVB owe us an apology for the stress n pain it caused cos we knew it was over. I'm happy the band are doing great but that soured my affection for them. Please don't send hate, it's just my feeling that this should be addressed as we'd given our time n money to support them and I feel we were deceived by the lack of clarity from Andy n co.

I was a victim of Ashley when i was 16 and 17. I had it a lot better than some other people who had terrible experiences with him. He attempted to meet up with me, which i declined. I feel like more people need to hold that man accountable. I respect Andy so much for being able to move on from Ashley's manipulation and pushing the band forward to a whole new level

I appreciated the Vale. It truly felt like an end to an era. As a long time fan, I felt the energy on it. Truly, it was a finale.

Ashley was extremely toxic in the band.. it makes me laugh how he tried to essentially control the band by attempting to change how they sound (which was evident in BVB 4 and Vale) and since he’s left he tried releasing singles and they just flopped If Ashley was a genuinely nice person I wouldn’t be sounding so critical but I feel like what goes around comes around 😅

Ashley was always weird tbh. His whole personality was about alcohol and sex. Im really not suprised about what happened :/
