Tammy Jo Kirk makes history and becomes the first female driver to get pole position in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. She put up a good fight but at the end of the day. Tammy finished 11th. 30:12 Holy crap, what a finish for 6th! This was pretty much a tie but the number 55 only just edged you out.

Rick Carelli gets his 2nd career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win. His first since Bristol in 1996, 22 races ago.

Just a few more laps and you would've passed Ron Hornaday but a double top 10 is great for DEI. Kevin Harvick, Chris Trickle and John Nemechek finish 31st, 33rd and 35th respectively.

6:47 Damn... I didn't think a hard crash at Homestead in 1997 would be this bad like in real life but it actually happened. All we know is Dan Press was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, we're just waiting on an update on his condition. Bob Keselowski just drove in there, hooked Dan, sending him into the outside retaining wall and Dan started flipping. Bob should be suspended for a few races or at least be on probation. If Dan Press isn't cleared to race at Phoenix then Kevin Harvick should fill in for him.

I already sense a rivalry brewing between you and Kenny Irwin Jr. or that may be just typical short track racing. I saw on Wikipedia that Kevin Harvick made his first two truck starts at this track and then Las Vegas later on in 1997 in a number #79 Chevy truck for Spears Motorsports so in this career mode. Harvick can make those two truck starts at the first Las Vegas race of the season and at California speedway (Auto Club).

This is a good return to the career mode, great action during the race! I saw your first community post relating to your Steve Park series about where Steve goes for 1998 and thought that might come in handy for this career mode. Steve Park still goes full time cup racing in 1998 in the #1 Pennzoil Chevrolet for DEI. You move up to the Busch series, Dale Earnhardt Inc's truck team stays open past 1999 for a few more seasons which means Team Resei never buys DEI's truck team. The #76 stays part time and the #16 is still a full time truck, Dale Earnhardt Inc's part time #14 cup series entry can stay open until 1999. Your #76 truck looks great, the thumbnail looks great too, keep doing ones like those for these NR2003 career mode videos. Anyway, let's just get through 1997 first, keep up the great work!

You should merge your Steve Park Re Career Sim with your NR2003 career mode in the Winston West Series. You continue this 1997 NASCAR Busch Series season and then finish your 1996 NASCAR Winston West season and at the end of the 1996 season. Dale Earnhardt offers you a ride in his DEI number 76 Chevrolet Silverado for the 1996 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season finale at Las Vegas before going full time in that truck for 1997 as well as 4 NASCAR Winston Cup Series races for DEI in the number 14 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the fall at Pocono, New Hampshire, Dover and Lowe's. In 1998, you enter your 2nd and final NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season in the number 76 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and do 1 NASCAR Busch Series race for DEI in the number 31 Chevrolet Monte Carlo at Lowe's in the fall. 1999, you go full time in the NASCAR Busch Series for Dale Earnhardt Inc in the number 81 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and the career mode will continue on from there.
