Practical skills are part of the KCE curriculum. Learning to cook can be more interesting with an online class, especially when you bring together friends from near and far and spend a fun afternoon together. On the menu for the online cooking class was Khichdi, a well-known Indian dish made with rice, dal, spices and vegetables. An experienced Indian woman led the KCE cookery team.

A day picnic at a nearby river with the youngsters who couldn't go home for summer vacation.

The KCE celebrated the 41st birthday of Thaye Dorje, H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa. We pray for his long life and may his activities for the benefit of all beings never end. We started the day with a puja and ended it with a joyful picnic in a swimming pool near the KCE.

KCE Annual Rimdro Puja. 22nd - 23rd April 2024 Our annual Rimdro Puja took place this year on April 22nd and 23rd. Lama Sonam Chodrak from the monastery of Rey (Sikkim) led the 2-day practice. Part of the practice is the long Mahakala Puja and a smoke offering puja. Rimdro practice is performed to pacify obstacles, in particular in Buddhist centers.
