“Happy April Fools”…?!? How much of what was said was untrue? Is the bike lane down Lane Ave and then down Riverside Drive to Trabue also just a “joke”? I hate feeling like a fool. Was extremely disappointed when I realized I was duped about being able to punt across the river. I’m sure some will think I just don’t have a good sense of humor, but honestly I thought we as a society had gotten past this annual ritual of lying to one another for no reason. I will now forever be skeptical of announcements from the city and the parks. 😢 I was so so excited for the new park. What about people who don’t watch to the end of the video? Also, not for nothing, but you posted this on March 31, not April Fool’s Day, so I really was not on my guard. I know one citizen being unhappy about this is not a big deal, and I guess some people will find this amusing, but I really wish April Fool’s Day was not a thing. I have never liked being made to feel like a fool. 😢

Just wait til it becomes an eye sore like the Dublin center became and there’s no way possible it’ll be financially self sufficient. Good luck and enjoy the forthcoming blight on the city. Since when did the vision of this bedroom community become one of 10 story buildings and increasing car traffic and population growth? Our property taxes don’t go down due to all this development…think about it and you’ll understand. Be careful for what you wish for.

I like the jogging/walking track and work out areas, but I wish there were more lanes in the lap pool.

This is horrible. Not fun at the least for the goldfish that’s involved in this event. Pleas stop this animal cruelty for good.

Please stop facilitating animal abuse. Any reasonable person should realize how cruel this is to these fish. Science has confirmed that fish suffer fear and pain. They deserve our respect and protection, not cruel exploitation. Teach children to be kind not cruel!

I think it's a great idea, but I have one question. Why goldfish??? The can sometimes grow up to a foot long and need a minimum of 20 gallons. It would be much better to put minnows, guppies, mollies, swordtails, or platys, which all look beautiful and don't grow very big, in the pool for kids to catch.
