Nothing against you or the other people that do them, but I don’t really have an interest in do group builds anymore plus I’m only 7 away from 1,000. I done a couple group builds before and I didn’t care for them due to deadlines and stuff.

Did you see the work in progress video that I released exactly 48 hours before this video came out? How about the unboxing video that I released on August 3rd of last year? I believe AMT did have this as a promo back in the day that they eventually turned into a curbside kit.

Thank you! This International and the International cabover by AMT go together great! I can’t say the same for most of AMTs other big rigs. Most of the other ones need a little bit more effort to make look nice.

I’ve always thought that they were cool, I know some people won’t like them. Other than the flash, I think they’re cool to have around to build while paint is drying on other models. Or to do a quick build between working on other models.

Yeah, I always thought it was cool. I wish model companies today would do it too. The only broken piece I got throughout my few JoHans was the A pillar on this model which I think I show in the video.

I don’t want to sound rude but all I can say is try to take your time and don’t rush it. Take your time and test fit parts, if you see a part won’t fit right, figure out why and fix it. I got this one instead of the AMT because it’s more detailed. I’m building this one up now and I’m figuring out the problems as I go.

Yeah, green is the final color. On some models, I do some weathering but not many of them. As far as varnish, when I do the painting, I do primer, paint and clear and how it turns out you see in the videos.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t say what paints to use but on mine I used Rustoleum black for the body and a dark brownish tan for the interior.

You’re right it didn’t. I wanted to buy the paints in needed before opening the box. I bought the model because it’s my daily drive, but I was extremely disappointed that it doesn’t have any motor parts.

@benjohnson7576 yeah it lacking engine parts sucks. At least, if you want, you could get an aftermarket engine online.
