You should really get yolopark scourge. I saw your transformers videos (Megatron) and yolopark scourge is cheaper, no diecast sadly, but it makes up for it in posability, and, it’s 22 centimeters tall!

The G1 toy was terrible but as for Rodimus I always liked him more than Optimus. Rodimus was my Prime that movie was my introduction to Transformers. Hell I even like Ultra Magnus more than Optimus. No malice but Optimus just wasn’t my guy.

He was released in 86 but was planned to be released in 85 but pushed back.

Watched a ton of G1 as a little kid and yeah, Reflector was prevalent in season 1. Interesting that in the cartoon, Reflector always a sort of hive mind, and they/he would always talk in unison, often moving as one. The only distinction between the sub-units was that Viewfinder (though they're never referred to in the cartoon by their individual names) had the closed aperture in the center of his chest. Aside from that, the three were perfectly identical

When the Duocons came out, my older brother got Flywheels - the jet/tank combo - while I got Battletrap - the helicopter/truck duo. I thought Flywheels was so much cooler than Battletrap. I was rather jealous, so much that when Siege released an updated version of Flywheels some 20 years later, I snatched it up immediately.

Mine arrived damaged kinda pissed about that, looks like FedEX dropped a box on it right in the middle

I was around 6 or 7 when I got him, absolutely adored the Jet part for whatever reason. Was one of those toys that I carried everywhere with me. Lost it eventually and only had the tank half after that. Say, you didn't grow up in Ontario did you? lol

I agree with you about the Vortex mask seeming a bit out of place on him. I actually found out years ago (by accident) that it happens to look GREAT on the 2nd Hondo MacLean (the yellow and purple one that came with Hurricane). Worth checking out if you get a sec.

I agree that he's nothing spectacular with regard to his transformation, but I've always loved the color scheme on this guy.

Objectively speaking, Dirge is probably the most forgettable of the seekers. However, he'll always be a favorite of mine strictly because he's the one seeker I had as a kid. Sometimes there's just no competing with nostalgia and childhood memories. :) Good to see the old boy getting some attention.
