Soft Colours: A Display of Student Artwork
Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery is proud to present Soft Colours, a display of artwork created by Year 5 students at Christ the Saviour Primary School in Ealing Broadway and Year 6 students at Tudor Primary School in Southall. These students worked collaboratively within their classes over the Autumn 2023 term with two of Pitzhanger’s artist practitioners, Emily Hopkins and Lucia Ferguson. The project responded to Idris Khan & Annie Morris: When Loss Makes Melodies, an exhibition exploring the themes of emotion, time, and memory which ran from 4 October 2023 to 7 January 2024.

💛💛💛
I climbed in this as a child in the late 80s, its always stuck in my imagination as the greatest thing, where is it now. I would love to see it again.
This shows what a really inventive artist Caro was. He was not afraid to go outside the bounds of "art".

.......... Merci
Shes the attenborough of history
Wonderful and informative.
Fantastic Nathan!
Great historian
Nice
Yes indeed,Bettany Hugh’s is a very fine looking lady
Yes, Betta
Wish it was still a library and shared for this kind of purposes
I enjoyed the film, however, I feel it would have been really useful to contextualise the project by showing images of the finished painted surfaces and the rooms.
Modernity is a sh*t.
Odd looking architecture!!!
I think part of why America is so messed up is that we have nothing remotely equivalent to the Grand Tour. We grow up insulated and isolated, knowing and caring very little about the world beyond our borders. History and geography are meaningless to us, we don't even know the truth about our own country. And now social media makes it clear how hopelessly ignorant Americans are even of their own language. I know this tho: I love Bettany.
While watching this lovely film I’m blown away by the perfectly chosen music. There is more to our Bethany than meets the eye!
OMG, what happened to her? Seriously, she was absolutely gorgeous and now she's huge. Does she have a health problem? This is such a shock, I can't believe this is the same person.
You are a pathologically narcissistic, superficial person, with values which are seriously skewed and vile. How dare you attempt to shame shame a woman with an incredible soul, allied with a brilliant mind, achieved through hard work?? She wasn’t at all invested in getting by on her pretty face….she earned her achievements honestly and loved her children more than your useless chase for youth and a failed battle against age. Her intellect makes worms of people like you, who are facile and uneducated and hopelessly mired in the artificially of mindless narcissism. Go ahead and worship youth and beauty….it will make the ravages of age absolutely unbearable to you, because in age, you will be alone in the dark night of the unenlightened soul, afraid of light which can’t hide normal human deterioration.
After winning my fancy hs history award in 1968 at Christ School I took the whole $50 & bought cool history books, Crete, Gibbons, etc. Now I dab cannabis oils & watch Mrs Hughes at 75% speed for enjoyment all alone- as everything incl my life, loves, music, books & mom have all been stolen in otherwise US pisspad culture. God perseveres nonetheless but the serpent's tooth is no sharper than a thankless child or country.
Giving in is acknowledging defeat. “Substances” keep people wallowing in self pity and hopelessness in the hell of self administered inertia, magnifying an already bad situation. Blaming anyone or anything never provides a solution….it only magnifies everything negative, a self indulgent exercise. Help is there for those who seek it, who refuse to give in, and positivity has no price tag, but it takes a small mental effort. I speak from a position of dire experience.
Так держать Беттани ❤️
This actually brought me a lot of joy. It reminds me at some points of exactly how a kid would interact with the sculpture. ❤
Thank you for your lovely comment! We hope you'll come to visit us soon and bring your friends and family to share the experience. Don't forget to spread the word and recommend us to others! 🤗
Great conversation between two cerebral titans.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Thickness
You DONE KNOW...
@Digital RAK - The true thickness is in your pathologically narcissistic, misogynistic world view. Try growing up.
Isn’t it interesting that Bettany’s style has never changed. T-shirt, over short or coat, and her blue denim skirt. I love her videos.
Brilliant 👏 👏 👏, thanks for sharing 👍
Bonjour 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
hahahahahahahahahahha hello, aunty! Ali
There is your work in the building across from Seoul Station, the capital of Korea. It's very nice to see you on RUclips.
I fell in love. And then I didn't. Who'd you be otherwise? Your husband is good. Never be poor.
So interesting, and what an amazing job you and Rachel have done on this wallpaper - it's gorgeous!
no sound !
Bettany is the best. She could walk around a garbage dump and I would be fascinated.
On a side note.... how absolutely stunning is this woman 💕🔥💕💕💕🔥🔥🔥🔥
you should have seen her early in her career..............stunning and sexy as well as brilliant
Easy Weasy...
Shes massive
how rude!
@Joe Bloggs - And you’re a sick, misogynistic, pathological narcissist. Skip history, archaeology, and wisdom, and stick to your pornographic pursuits….you’ll be much happier there.
Yes! She is very popular. 👍
Wow! what an amazing story! Can't wait to come and see the inscription again
Thanks Nora! We can't wait to welcome you back to Pitzhanger soon.
