@@jeppzonegaming thanks.😅 I mean, I’ve played a bunch of souls games over the years and Bloodborne was my first. I think the throwables in this game are just extremely op. But yea, a good bit of it was definitely getting lucky with rng.

Yeah Gondul is difficult as well :) But in Give me God of War, Sigrun's difficulty is unmatched IMO :)

To each their own. I had a really hard time with her the first time around. Probably spent more time on her than any other boss I've ever faced. Having to dodge all her combos, while only chipping away at her health was really difficult for me.

Hi! Thanks for your question. I'm utilizing the stance switch mechanic on the blades of chaos by first attacking, and then waiting a bit. After that, I can use the powerful attack that I think you're referring to. The attack is called Chaotic Rampage in the skill tree for the blades.

Yeah it's a bit unclear. Since I beat them on GMGOW+, I cant' say this with a 100% certainty, but difficulty should not matter. Only the fact that it's NG+ should be enough to get the Zeus Armor pieces.

I'm using the Talisman of the Realms for that!

Hi! Thanks for your question. The attack is a stance switch skill called "Chaotic Rampage" that can be bought for the Blades of Chaos. When you have it, you simply do a normal attack with the blades and then wait a bit until the blades are set on fire

I don't really recall what I used to start NG+, but I'm pretty sure I used the valkyrie armor set which is great. And the talisman of realms helps a lot. Having a power level of 8 or 9 when starting NG+ is also helpful

Agree that Simon is harder on NG+ and beyond, and the comparison to DoH is a good one! DoH is one of my favorite fights in Sekiro, but it took many playthroughs for me to realize that. In the beginning I hated DoH. Maybe I'll come to the same realization with Simon, even though I doubt it.

Interesting! I had the opposite experience. Early game bosses were a breeze, but fights from chapter 8 and onwards were really tough for me. I do agree that NP's damage could be a bit higher on a first playthrough, but I still struggled with him a lot.

Laxasia was really hard for me as well!

I had the weirdest experience. I struggled against Simon's second phase the most. Lax took 3 tries, NP took like 10 tries. Simon kicked my ass for may be 40 tries.

Interesting! Simon's second phase is really hard, but I always felt like I could brute force it with a lot of utility

@jeppzonegaming I used +10 Wrench and A tech booster greaves. My play style is to keep distance, boost in and wack em and then fable attack. Simon ranged attack wouldn't let me do that. For NG+ I breezed through everything.

Simon took 3 tries but Lax took me legitimately 12 hours over the course of 3 days cuz of work and family stuff but yeah that chick didn't mess around

That's what's so fun about these lists, people's mileage will always vary! I had a really hard time learning the perfect guard, which is why I struggled so much with Nameless Puppet. I certainly had not mastered the game after my first playthrough 😔

i feel like if you have to ignore an entire aspect of the leveling system for a boss its not that hard and the hardest bosses in the game like puppet simon and the king of puppets positions don't particularly shake because of their point of encounter

Yeah if you just want to rank the bosses in isolation, I guess you could do that. And also no legion arm, no upgraded weapon etc. It would be interesting to see such a list as well!

That's interesting! I haven''t played Ragnarok yet, so I don't know if I would feel the same. But I think the full Zeus Armor set and the fact that I've fought her like 500 times at this point might influence it a bit. But it will be interesting to see if I have the same experience as you after playing Ragnarok (if it ever comes to PC xD).

@@jeppzonegaming ah yes seeing that vid def reminds me of the difficulty, even on normal. scratching away at the health is how it mostly goes. you haven't played ragnarok yet? are you a steam PC GOW player? that was me fr until i avoided spoilers for a year enough to wittle me down to have to get one. the pc release date hasn't even been annouced yet and i just love GOW too much to not play more. i perfected achievements GOW 2018 on PC then plat ragnarok on PS.. Best games ever, ragnarok i will say has some much harder optional bosses than 2018 in my experience..

Yeah that health bar is massive when you don't have the full Zeus Armor set! I am a PC GOW player, yes. 2018 is the first and only GOW I've played so far. It took 4 years for the 2018 PC port, so I'm expecting something similar for Ragnarok. I might be buying a console before that though! Oh, that sounds enticing with even harder bosses than 2018! I found the valkyries pretty tough.

Yeah, the bosses do have insane tracking in this game. Don't agree with the other stuff though. The only FromSoft game I've enjoyed more than LoP is Sekiro.

Yeah, I can imagine! My first playthrough was on Give me a Challenge, so I didn't really experience that level of frustration. I only played GMGOW on NG+, so I already had good gear by then. Kudos to those who play GMGOW on a fresh save file! But yeah, would be nice if they added something like that.
