If someone wants to melee you, they have to get within pile bunkering range :) Works against kicks, laser lance, pulse blade, chainsaw, basically everything except the plasma thrower.

It's so sad that the energy weapons don't change colour when using the coral generator

While being a shorter fight overall this was much harder than allmind. For allmind i had a fully mapped plan that would reliably get me to phase 3. For ayre the only plan was to hope she didnt go ballistic spamming teleports and laser attacks.
Dang, imagine being one of the hardest bosses in the game, then some guy comes along and beats you to death 💀

Unfortunately no, the color scheme is just because red is my favorite color, and "lizard puncher" is because people make fun of iguazu by calling him iguana. Thanks for making me aware of this mech though, looks cool!
@@deathly5140 Haha, it' a funny coincidence then. In Nadesico the enemy faction is known as the "Jovian Lizards" and the Aestivalis can punch and in fact their best move is the "Distortion Punch".

I used the laser wings until B rank and I started running a close range BVO build or a pile bunker build
nice, ive been trying to switch to melee since this build got pretty boring, but every time i just get obliterated by some hyper minmaxed meta setup and just end up going back to this build
@@deathly5140 yeah that’s why in my opinion BVO is good because once you reach the skill required to be good with it very few builds can actually fight you

@@seankennethleblanc6235 Aside from the obvious defensive differences between the heads, the main 3 stats they have to offer are stability, scan, and system recovery. Higher stability makes you harder to stagger, higher system recovery means you are less affected by ACS anomalies like electric discharge and fire damage, and higher scan gives your scanner a longer range

Quick question, how do you use these armor chips? To do that big dome shaped energy explosion around you?
Ctrl + R will activate assault armor, pulse armor, and pulse protection. Terminal armor will activate its self to stop you from taking fatal damage

Use a shield, slapping the VP PS shield on any trash build multiply your survivability by 3, it is stuuuuupid I did allmind with a loader 4 + a shield and it was realy not that hard, espacialy p3

Well done I have been pairing the Turner and 6olt shoulder drone. It works on bots good but I haven't tried it on players yet
This was the original use for pilebunkers in AC3. They were equipped to the right arm and called parry blades, and they worked in tandem with energy shields equipped to the left arm. When an opponent would attack with a laserblade, you'd block with shield and parry with pilebunker. Never mind that Fromsoft, in typical style, neglected to explain this in the games or manuals. So, the fans didn't figure this out for a decade. We'd just equip a laserblade to left arm and parry blade to right, and miss with the right one. Lol
