I was just two years old when this happened I didn’t know what was going on but a couple of years latter I was in first grade and we where studying the earth and one of my classmates mentioned what had happened because we were talking about the earth and my teacher ask my friend how he knew the earthquake he said that he heard about the anniversary on news and that it was known as the World Series earthquake

I've noticed in the past year or so that the whole 9/11 conspiracy theorists and the talk of 9/11 in general has subsided considerably. The world is moving on at warp speed. This year will be 24 years since that tragic day. An event that rocked my generation ❤

She told me that,” SHE DIDN’T WANT TO LIVE ON THIS WORLD ANYMORE”. After that, my fear turned into anger. Today, she’s a 29 year old, College Graduate-IT Engineer, my son is a Mathematician and, my other daughter is a Graphic Arts Engineer.

Corruption has been an unfortunate ill in the United States 🇺🇸 government at all levels since its inception. Mr. Nixon was a great president regarding many issues. It is unfortunate this incident is what he will be remembered for. Along with Reagan and IKE he is one of my 3 favorite presidents of the 20th century. ✌️✌️

Love this docuseries. Although it's full of errors, it is still a good kick off for anyone interested in the revolution.

We used to listen to the cassette version of this performance while on an interstate drive to visit my grandparents at Christmas. It is a classic audiobook (though abridged). In fact, I think Stewart's overall performance here is superior to his later work as Scrooge in the TNT movie of "A Christmas Carol."

I remember having my bed beating the hell out of me on this morning. Neither my wife or I could get to our 2 year old daughter who was in her bed in a room around the corner from our bedroom. We rode it out on the bed and once the shaking stopped we put our shoes on she went to our daughters room and she was still asleep. I went downstairs and found out that i lost my 75 gallon fish tank which was glass. We got outside and were talking with our neighbors and were checking on each other. I lived in Mar Vista area of the westside, phones were out and I was wanting to get ahold of my parents who lived in Santa Monica, my neighbor had a car phone and we went for a drive to the corner and amazingly we got a signal and I was able to speak to them they were okay but they had severe damage. About a year later my wife and I moved to the Valley, Reseda to be exact, there was still some damage around the area and the apartment complex we lived in was opening back up, we figured it was fine to move there since it would be at minimum of 20 years until the next one. Since then we divorced and I have moved to Iowa now I deal with the possibility of tornadoes.

My 20th birthday occurred on the day Nixon resigned. I am a lifelong Democrat, but I to this day truly admire Richard Nixon. The Watergate era was fascinating, and I just wish Nixon and his associates had just not engaged in break-ins and cover-ups.

Wish I could go volunteer for LA28! I visited the training center while on vacation and even sang the national anthem in exchange for seeing an athlete's gold medal. After seeing a ceremony I was hooked! I would love to volunteer or perform on the biggest world stage on earth! But the closest relative I could have stayed with is in Sacramento. Maybe if it comes to the Midwest someday, highly doubt it though
