Casey Lyons is a performer and writer from the Chicagoland area. Casey has been performing professionally since age 11, most notably appearing as Gustave in the first national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies, sequel to The Phantom of the Opera.He has written and self-produced two original musicals, Limelight and Bars of Ivy (co-written with Caroline Miller), which have collectively raised $9,100 for charity. Casey is currently pursuing a dual degree in Voice and Opera & Theatre atNorthwestern University. He is represented by Stewart Talent Chicago. This is a lovely performance, but it muddies the water a bit for you to also sing the contrasting section which depicts people praying selfishly for wealth, fame, and glory (as opposed to Esmerelda's prayer, which asks for mercy for others), even though you did it really well. If you have occasion to perform this again, either online or not, I suggest you do the "Bette Midler" version, which is re-written to be entirely a solo piece.
