Calm before the storm. Just look at how beautiful it is here without the violent sea high dangerous waves crashing in. It's a shame that it couldn't stay like this without those Waves of Damage and destruction flooding when they start coming in full force.
There was a lot more of Hallsands to be seen when I visited the South Hams in 1988!
There was sadly over the years more and more is being lost

Excellent idea of filming this from the sea looking back towards the village ruins, but spoilt by moving the camera around so erratically and zooming in & out so quickly - very disturbing for the viewer, however by pausing some good shots one is able to appreciate the footage.
Fair point, cutting out the ulta-fast zooms would help.
