My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH

I have the same watch. Green Sunburst Pista coloured dial. However I feel the glow on the dial is too much that the time is almost invisible 70 percent of the times in the low light. You need to be under the direct sunlight or standing somewhere outside during the day time to see the watch hands.

Your review was a good one, but it's hard to believe you would prefer the Bertucci DX3 as a "field watch" to the Addiesdive MY-H2 you recently reviewed. The MY-H2 gives you rugged, reliable, stainless-steel watch, with a mechanical movement, date complication, sapphire crystal, killer lume, screw-down crown, screw-down back, and a claimed 200m of water resistance (versus the DX3's claimed 50m). The Bertucci is cute, but I wanted more water resistance, scratch resistance, lume, and strap options than the DX3 could provide and the MY-H2 is cheaper and better looking to boot.

The Addiesdive MY-H2 is my favorite cheap watch of my collection. It has great specs and build quality, looks terrific, has great lume, and mine is accurate to +8s/day. All for under 50 USD from Ali Express. Why does it bother you that it has good water resistance? Whatever enhanced water resistance you get in a watch is a major positive. After all a flieger is just a field watch with a triangle and two dots at the 12 o'clock position.

Glad to see a review of $100 price range Watch - my favorite price range ! I’d pick a Duro instead of a resin CasiOak. Duro is coincidentally priced the same as Timex Q reissue.. I’ve not strayed from ‘brand Casio’ irrespective of all the temptations.. If I get a microbrand watch, it’ll be a “DWC Kolar” if and when it gets relaunched (because of its affordability and it being named after a town in my home state of Karnataka!)

I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from MAMACOO for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

While there’s no doubt that watch enthusiasts’ community is growing in our country, I have my doubts about these enthusiasts’ affordability to buy watches costing $450 - $500. From what I have seen in Watch forums I’m a member of, one of the popular questions is “Can you suggest a good watch in Rs 10-15K range ?” This is the reason for reluctance of the big brands to introduce their popular models in our country. I’m a Motorcyclist and also (used to be) a Fountain pen enthusiast. It’s the same story in those forums as well. For eg., many of the popular motorcycles released in the developed countries aren’t available here. I own a motorcycle which is treated as a premium motorcycle in India (which cost me a few months of my salary) which is considered a kind of entry level motorcycle in developed countries. In summary, a vast majority of enthusiasts from developing countries have a much lower ‘purchasing power’ compared to those belonging to developed countries which is the prime reason..

Since I drink only South Indian filter coffee (being from Karnataka, coffee hub of India), I may not decide to own this watch themed after Irish coffee (that I’m a Casio addict with a budget of $100 per watch is a story for another day 😉). My WOTD is Edifice EFR-S108D which I could snap up for Rs 7.5K on Sale which also happens to be my latest as well as 50th Casio since September 2023 !!

As a Casio addict with about 50 Casios including 12 G-Shocks, Manga is one Casio I’m not excited/enthused to get, Probably because I can’t connect with a “cartoonish watch” based on a cartoon character I’m not familiar with. However, in the unlikely possibility of it being available on one of the online retailers at a tantalizingly low price, I can think about it. For instance, my WOTD is GBD-200 which I got for just around Rs 7.3K !
