I would love to see you collaborate with other RUclipsrs like studiOmega and T.H.E. Anime Club, especially on their Sekhie reacts to Fate series. Maybe you could make a video with them discussing which servants can beat Gilgamesh, similar to the one the Voice of Saint Quartz did.

Unfortunately its a game of of chicken when it comes to guideline and copyright strikes. None of what they're doing is in any way enforceable by law and they know it. What they're banking on is no one calling them out on their bluff and fighting the strikes. Hard to blame any creators for not wanting to run the risk of legal action from a multi-billion dollar company like Sony, but thats probably what it'll take to be able to shut up the JP fun police and get Sony/Aniplex/Lasagna off the community's back. Also doesn't help a lot of FGO content creators are smaller channels without a direct line to RUclips, which would make getting any potential strikes erased much easier. In some positive news though when I've seen this happen and creators do start to fight back people quickly realize how flimsy the strikes actually are and many would be retracted. I'm not a content creator so it's easy for me to say these things when my account Isn't potentially on the chopping block, but I just can't see rolling over and letting these companies kick content creators while the JP players watch and laugh as being the right choice, Wishing you, Plushie, and all the other content creators the best while dealing with this and I hope a solution is found soon so we can all go back to enjoying our gambling addictions!

I think this is really dumb. You have people out there giving FGO free press, hyping up their game. Now they are going to make these regulations that are going to make content creators not want to do stuff for FGO. I just don't see the benefit to them for this. I think they are shooting themselves in the foot here and I am not sure why.

I can maybe understand the music player part…but everything else is just short sighted and ignorant of the benefits of this, and other, platforms. So, I think it’s stupid.

there are lots of games you can build your channel around. they can still be waifu gachas like NIKKE and Blue Archive, while still posting occasional FGO guides for upcoming events without actually showing anything in game

It's stupid that Aniplex/Lasengle pulled a massive stunt like this. Without people posting F/GO videos -JP or otherwise- the game won't have new players discover it let alone roll for their characters with their money. Way to kill off your PR "Lasagna"! That will also decreased the number of people downloading their game, meaning the 30M Downloads Campaign -in JP- will be impossible to reach before 2024 ends.

Now I'm worried that this could destroy my own channel, because I analyse how well characters are depicted in FGO in comparison to their originals. I don't stream FGO, and I only play NA, but... ugh.... I might need to start branching out sooner than later.

Tbh, they probably just need to limit the restricted portions to only the cutscene/story portions and allow Main Battles/Free Quests/CQs for any part of the game and I imagine even most content creators would be ok with the restrictions. Actual Story Playthrough, I can maybe understand a bit so people actually need to play the game or watch the movies.

I mean I think from this point on I'm cutting back on spending in this game.

FGO devs can just go F themselves. Terrible game, awful ingame rewards, and now this bullshit.

From what I got from watching the other videos is that jp players were not happy the Global side streamers were posting stuff from OC3. They even went so far as to harass and demand the videos be taken down. They went to Sony/Aniplex directly to complain and so they made the Guidelines. JP players are very vocal and they listened. It is not a good situation but could have been handled better by the playerbase.

This is BS. Once the content is released to the public, the public should be able to do whatever they want with it. Imagine Fromsoft or Game Science telling people that they can't make playthrough videos on Elden Ring or Black Myth Wu Kong until 2 years after it is released. Sony/Aniplex can get bent.

Surprising they are doing this, so late into the game. This was definitely not done because of spoilers. Why ruin channels because of this. If this was actually done because of spoilers, I'm dumbfounded

Honestly, I’d argue that the original combat was amazing, it’s just the grinding that sucks. It really shines in the 1v1s against servants. I get it, not seeing the moves of enemies is kind of a rough start, but their patterns are easy to figure out and you eventually unlock all their moves the more you battle them. But I digress. This system is really my favorite when it comes to fighting servants. With enough intel, you have just enough moves revealed to make it a fair fight on equal grounds as you try whittle down your opponent’s health turn by turn while you sneak in healing, buffs, and debuffs. What I really like is how the servants go at the same time in an attempt to overpower each other instead of waiting for the other’s turn to be over. With the combination of buffs for some servants, it encourages you and even makes you want to use the attack, break, or guard moves even during the unknown moves, bringing a sense of risk for great reward, whether that be going for higher damage, stunning your opponent, or recovering MP. Anyways, while I’m sad to see it go, I do wanna see what Record’s combat system is up to. Hopefully it’ll live up to that same potential as EXTRA’s rock power scissors combat (it’s good, trust me, it’s just the grinding that sucks).

Dynasty warriors origins better have the final battle being the yellow turbans. They make it a very hard and badass battle. Oh hey that ghost samurai game is getting a sequel that's cool. The state of play was fine but won't fix that clusterfuck of a PS5 pro announcement

I can't say I hate the original Fate/Extra battle system, but it became repetitive and they should find something new to get more new people interested in this game as well as the original players. So I think it is a good approach and I hope that they are cooking hard!

... Kingdom hearts: chain of memories did the deckbuilding game 13 years before slay the spire did, and I doubt it was the first one.

For me the combat wasn't the worst part (save state scumming cough cough), but explorarion and repetitivity was, we spend a whole week in 2 dungeons and in some days literally nothing happens, this is worsened by how damn grindy the game is, it takes AGES of grinding to get level ups, and the combat can very easily mess you up, CCC kinda fixes this by: you're done with a dungeon floor? Then you don't have to stay in it any longer because the story continues, plus you level up in a normal pace I'm guessing leveling up won't be a problem here, combat is different, and the exploration looks a lot of fun

Honestly, I just want to play as same gendered master and servant without having any content differences. Especially if they remake ccc.

Luck based gameplays is common. Even FGO with its card style gameplay is luck based as well. Hell Fate Extra has less luck based on its gameplay than FGO. The paper scissors thing is more about memorization and knowing the patterns of the enemy.

If they do DLC it'll probably be like Samurai Remnant with seperate DLC packs? One of them could try to connect the Amari character from Last Encore to the game

I enjoyed midnight suns which is kinda like this but with an added tactical rpg positioning which i loved. If this is anything like that in terms of gameplay i might actually play a ng+ (assuming this has one) for the first time in years

I got extremely lucky after getting sparkle at either 58 or 59 pity it took me a few days but I managed to get her early at 47 pity with enough time to get her lc in a few more days after since I had 35 pity built in already it took me 68 pity but I won the 75/25 too

compared to the original combat system, the card system is going to amazing. in order for this new combat system to be successful, they need to make the card system very unique to each of the Servants we play as, the enemies we fight and each boss we fight. they also need it to be easy to understand for people like me who never played this type of combat system while having what gamers like about this combat system while having a unique version of the Card Combat System that is a different spin on how other games like Slay The Spire have used it

i'm really hoping that not only do Type Moon tell us when in 2025 that Fate Extra Record comes out, but that the game comes out in the first half of 2025 like January or February

i don't see how cards are any better than rock-paper-scissors
