If you mean will cardboard stop my laser from burning it, then no it will burn right through it. Unless it is white colored white so far the laser wont even blemish white. If you meen the infrared camera Ide half to get a sheet and stand behind it. I can tell you that anywhere I might touch the cardboard it will show on the thermal image. For instance if i walk to the wall of my livingroom and press my hand on it for oh 5 seconds. And then scan the camera over it it will clearly show my handprint and it will be visible for a good 5 minutes or longer. Of course you wouldnt be able to see anything with just your eyes. And this example will work with any surface. Like a tree. Or a road or the grass. Or carpet, glass, if the surface was hotter then my body temp im not sure. But It should show my hand because its a lesser temp depending on wether or not the surface was maintaining its hotter temp. I can also set my camera to record the coldest temperature. Ok so I tested the gloss blue paper and it did burn. It took a little bit longer. Around 1 minute compared to less than 5 seconds for the matte blue to burn. Good recommendation thanks for the comment.

@@AbbyCd I know right, but you can clearly see it. Its still trying to hide but I dont think it had its camo turned on. I didnt know it was there when i grabbed my camera. Film often enough and anyone will catch these things. Furthermore thats why I want everyone to film thier sky. That way they got no where to go . And then maybe we'll get some answers... 😎🥸

@@generalagondray Yeah and I'm sure it was tactically unnecessary. By the time they'd gotten over their confusion and rearmed the harpoon gun, the Bounty would've beamed the whales aboard and flown away. I think the decloaking was solely for cinematic and dramatic effect. Or you could explain it in-universe as the Bounty's crew wanting to teach the whalers a good lesson.

it was to intimidate, blocking 1 harpoon sure the bounty could have the whales beamed up and then the whalers just turn around and kill more whales and keep going. Instead they just scared the piss out of a ship boat of whalers who will probably never whale again and either be labeled as loons or other whalers will get the message.
