Hey guys, a small update: i think the reason why I couldnt figure out how to get my stuff to distort without this method (well i cant remember if i was using 16/32 bit but this must be the reason), 16bit audio cannot go past 0db but 32bit can. So just pushing up the faders really high to make your audio go in the red wont distort if its 32bit but 16bit will get this desired sfx just by pushing faders up. Always remember to then EQ the bass and stuff to not hurt your ears
sorry guys im so </3 you just need to select the option to hard clip in the ASIO settings (its on by default) 😭😭
