www.takayadesigns.ca This video shows step by step instructions to make a set of beaded earrings. I use the two-needle technique, as it is my favorite method of beading. The beads are able to lay symmetrical and precise to the desired design. I also have beading kit available on my website.

My name is Destiny, I am of mixed decent. I’m Assiniboine from White Bear First Nations from my mother and mixed Caucasian from my father. I want to aspire and helps to learn how to bead. I find beading to be good medicine for me ♥️
Hi, Destiny. I love the colors of your earrings. Can I get info on your supplies, needle size, what of threading , size beads and etc.. I enjoyed your video. Thanks
Where can I get supplies to try this out?
Cool tutorial, I love it! The little triangle pattern is so chic. I’ll definitely be back. I’ve been making jewelry for decades, but bead weaving and bead embroidery aren’t my primary mediums, so I’m still learning all the techniques. Also, you probably already know this, but the technique where you lay down a thread or cord (or yarn or chain!😮) onto the fabric backing using another thread is called “couching”. It’s used a lot in yarn embroidery techniques and stuff like that. I make a lot of my vines and flower stems that way, couching a piece of yarn along a line using a contrasting thread, it’s a cute technique, and very intuitive. Have a wonderful day, and may your comments section be filled with positive vibes!🌈❤️
The best video I’ve seen where you can actually see what you’re doing! I’ve been struggling with finishing the edging but I think this shows me where I was going wrong. Thank you so much! ❤
Can I get a list of supplies. I want to learn
Lovely 🥰 what type of thread do you use ?
To much talking
What backing you Used?
Your work is beautiful but I could not continue to watch, simply because your screen was not a full screen. That is a problem because it is hard to see what you are doing. I could not enlarge the screen because when you move you were out of focus. Anyway, thanks for sharing.
My kit didn’t come with the white beads. What size are they so I can start my earrings?
It's always a plus when one can thread the needle the first shot. :)
So pretty, and I wish I could have nails doing beading lol thank you for this tutorial. 🥰
Where do you get the backing for the pink backing
Love your kits! Started on my first set!
MI E PARECEN BONITOS PERO MAL GRABADO EL VIDEO DEBE SER CON EL CEI HORIZONTAL NOO VERTICAL
Where’s a good place to find the middle parts?
Etsy
Thank you sis! I couldn’t figure out how to get that first bead to sit properly. It’s because I was pulling the thread for the very first beads through the backing and not just the pellon 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for the tutorial
Your nails distract from the process. Otherwise...awesomeness ❤
Thank you for showing us your artwork. When your sewing for the rhinestone jewels do you glue the last one to secure it? Or will the last stitch be sufficient? Also, are you using crystals or rhinestones for the center gem?
Nice. What is the name of the fabrics you used
Great video appreciate it 🔥
What is the fabric
Thanks for sharing. I need more practice with two needles! I was a klutz! What is benefit over on e needle ?
Do you seriously need to tell people how to thread a needle. RUclipsr's seem to feel viewers are dumb.
Not a lot of people know how to thread a needle Js
Well that is seriously sad.!!!!@@angelg66600
Girl I love the video it was very helpful. I haven’t made a pair of earrings in 18 years. Plus my last one I used much bigger beads. Lol 😅 I love those earrings you made and your video guided me through areas I have questions on! Thank you!
I love the earnings and the tutorial. Only have one problem. Why do people just give you strip down the middle? For someone my age it really makes it difficult to watch without getting a headache.
Hello what exactly are the satin silky beads called? Are they square cubed beads?
Where do you find the middle pieces? I want to try making my first pair, this technique seems much more simple. Thanks for the video 😊
And also what’s a good size for the middle piece, thanks in advance ☺️
@@Chelseajean843like the center of the beadwork? We call those cabs, or cabochons or just centers. I laser engrave custom cabs or you can use buttons, gems, or find them anywhere online. I suggest buying indigenous and not Amazon.
What type of Pelion do you use
@thread.needle.scissors - Cabochons I think 🤔 they’re called. Amazon sells them, do does many bead stores, arts crafts supply outlets like Michael’s here in Canada (both in store and online!). There’s all sorts of different shapes, sizes, colours… 😊
This is a very pretty design. I have never try this so I will just enjoy your video and see if I dare do this. 😊😍
do you use like a glovers needle for the edging or did you use the same needle you used for the flat beading?
Started making my first pair of earrings last week and couldn’t figure out how to finish them off, thank you ❤️
Hi, pls what’s your IG handle, I would love to talk to you 🙏🏽
This was beautiful and very impressive. Oddly enough, this could also be an "ASMR" video. Might want to label them that way for searching. ;)
Thank you for the awesome tutorial 😍
Where can I purchase the large center crystals at, pls.?

Hi Destiny, Yay!. Thank you for uploading a new video 😊.
Not a very good tutorial as can't see it all.
I wish it was filmed in wide mode so you could zoom in if needed because some parts WERE hard to see in this mode.
You can actually zoom in, unless it’s just my iPad that can. Just try pinching outwards on your screen in full mode
So new to this…. Someone please tell me what fabrics you are beading on..? Is it felt…?🤷🏼♀️🥴
I enjoy watching you work and your projects are so pretty. I will say your music is a bit different but a little distracting; maybe too loud? Thank you for your video❣️
Hey i am new here! What thread and favric do u use?
Next time don't add that music. 😂
Thank you for this ! You do amazing work 👏
