Smackdown 2 was way better. I skipped Just Bring It as a kid, as I had not got my ps2 yet. Shut Your Mouth was an epic start for the ps2 imo.

@@Makle84 No way, Shut you mouth was one of my first games next to GTA 3 and Tekken Tag for the PS2, what a great xmas 2002 was for me. I didn't get just bring it until later. But Yeah WWF Smackdown 2 was much a superior game to Just bring it. At Least THQ made up for it with Shut you mouth, my all time favourite WWE game.

@@AnonymousC2218 Yeah it was great, from the roster to all the backstage stuff. It had the best menu imo too. Yeah Xmas 2002 was something else. I had Shut Your Mouth, Vice City, Hitman 2 and Terminator (can't remember the subtitle).

Loved the Season mode for sym there was so much you could do compared to the other games that came after, they don't make WWE games like they used to any more. I would love to have a WWE game (my dream game) that's from 1997-2009 with SYM/HCTP and SVR 06 Gameplay. If I had the know how on how to make video games I would've try to make it myself. lol 😅

@@AnonymousC2218 Haha yeah me too but i dont have a clue about that stuff. It's a shame they don't remaster the classic ones but it won't have the WWF logo. WWE 13 was the last good one for obvious reasons lol. Yeah Dawn of Fate 👍. It wasn't a bad game but I found it pretty hard and gave up. Too many great games out at the time.

I got the deluxe edition as it comes with all dlc apart from the WrestleMania XL arena but that can be downloaded using the community creations

I only ask because I am on the fence of the unknown as to which version of the game I should buy. Currently, I am vacillating between the Deluxe Edition and the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition; however, from what I have seen since the game’s release so far, is to get the Deluxe Edition. It seems most people are not willing to drop £93 on the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition; instead, they have ultimately decided on the Deluxe Edition as it gives players a nice, happy medium (one tier above Standard) of the game. It’s great so far, it’s mostly the same as 2k23 but with added content, there’s a lot I still need to explore, hopefully there’s some dlc to add more historic matches as a lot has been missed out compared to 2k14 30 years of wrestlemania

Darby Allin’s jump from the ladder onto the glass was crazy, a great match to end stings career on his terms

I have a PS2 with all the games but the quality is much better using PCSX2 Emulator, just can’t run tag matches without slowing down, I use Dolphin for the GameCube games like Wrestlemania X8-XIX and Day of Reckonong games

Indeed! This game is like an underrated gem; it is fun and unique yet it does not get the recognition that it truly deserves. Season Mode was mad in the original SvR game. The gameplay is very similar to SmackDown: Here Comes the Pain, however.

Had 2008 for years 2nd hand at CEX and 360 is also 2nd hand at Cash Converters in UK they go as low as £40 at the moment but probably not for long as games are getting harder to find

They should be available there but if you were to get them, now would be the time as the 2nd hand shops will all be closed down within the next few years and be more expensive buying on EBay

Think the last one where you have a unique storyline is WWE 12, after then it turned into events from the past then added a career mode for custom superstars around 2k15, hopefully it comes back in 2k25

I’m playing it on Xbox 360 but it was also out on PS3 and PS2, it’ll be sold at a 2nd hand shop or online quite cheap surprisingly
