Dovestone Reservoir and Trinnacle Rocks Hike | Peak District Walks
Join me and Cloé on another walk but this time back in the Peak District. We took a lovely hike around Dovestone Reservoir, up Greenfield Brook and onto The Trinnacle Rocks. We did not brave climbing the Trinnacle- it was much scarier in person trust me!
Such a beautiful spot!

Walla Crag Wainwright Walk | Best Easy Hike in the Lake District
Просмотров 192Месяц назад
Join us on a beautiful walk up Walla Crag for Cloé's first wainwright ⛰️. Unfortunately we had to cut the Cumbria Way short after many changes of plans and then ultimately a shortage in food. However, that didn't stop us from making the most of our time in the Lake District. We headed to Keswick and then up Walla Crag, down towards Ashness Bridge, Lodore Falls and finally had a swim in Derwentw...
We Changed Our Whole Plan 😬 | Cumbria Way Day Two
Просмотров 456Месяц назад
Find out how we changed our plan after we struggled way too much on Day 1 of the Cumbria Way. Overall, we were really happy we changed our plan and made sure we prioritised enjoying our time in the Lake District as opposed to continuing way beyond our limits. We're definitely motivated to train up so that next year we're prepared for long distance trails. Any tips and guidance on training reall...
Cumbria Way Day One | A STRUGGLE hiking from Ulverston to Coniston 🥲
Просмотров 945Месяц назад
Hi lovely people! Finally getting round to sharing our summer Cumbria Way trip. This is day one, which took us from Ulverston to Coniston (14 miles without any wrong turns but we somehow made it up to about 17 😂). This route was mainly through farmlands but we eventually made it into the Lake District, past Beacon Tarn and most of the way up past Coniston Water to our campsite. Safe to say we w...

Great walk out with you. Most enjoyable. Beautiful lakeland ❤
Next time I'm in the UK, I'd love to hike in that region. Are the Peak and Lake districts the same thing, or are they different but near each other? Not really up on my English geography! And BTW, I loved hearing our (Homegrown Idjits) music in the background. Thank you!
It’s a beautiful place! Lakes are about 2 hours drive from the Peaks but definitely possible to do both in one trip! You’re welcome thanks for the tunes!
Just beautiful!😃
Thanks Carrie!
I was there in September, it is beautiful up there above dovestones
Really is so peaceful and beautiful ❤️
I love those beautiful views. Thanks so much for sharing, just subscribed from a fellow RUclipsr 😉👍
Thanks so much!!!! ❤️
Awesome first upload.
Amazing place. Paradise.
It really is!
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍9
😂Very good👏👏
You had beautiful weather for walking, it looked amazing. I'm glad you both had fun after changing your plans. Yeah, planning out food can be a bit of a pain!😄
It’s all a learning curve!! Can’t wait to get back out there next Spring 😭 Thanks so much for watching
@@girlintheweeds I'm going for a second attempt of the Cumbria Way in spring- I might see you out there!😄
What a great video and the views from the top of Walla Crag are just breathtaking, I can only imagine seeing it first hand must be epic , Thanks for sharing your adventure always a joy to watch
@@jiefrog One of my absolute favourite views in the UK! Can’t recommend it enough
😂😂😂👏👏💚❤️
One of my favourite routes in snowdonia! Well done you smashed it 😊😊
Cumbria way is really tough. I am 67 and did it with my partner who is 64. Our packs were far too heavy. We had 3 days where we had our 70 ltre pack taxied to our next destination . Great fun though . Love your video
Thank you so much Roger! We didn't think about a baggage taxi service but probably a little out of our budget right now! Glad you also enjoyed the walk!
wow the view are amazing , thanks for sharing i really enjoyed the video
Thank you so much!! It’s such a stunning spot 😍
Well done! Yeah, I also changed my plans after getting bad feet from two days of wet boots and skipped a stage. Then I got as far as Keswick and decided to leave the rest of the trail until next spring! My video will be out on Tuesday. Definitely no shame in changing your plans, I was glad I did and I have 30 years of hiking experience. As the Americans say, 'Hike your own hike'. ☺
@@carriehikes Thanks for sharing you experienced something similar! It’s hard not to feel a bit disappointed in yourself for not pushing through but there’s no point in suffering 😂 Excited to see your next video!
You've realised your limits at this stage, and admitted it was way too much with a pack weighed down. There's absolutely no shame in that girl. You keep doing what you're doing, and maybe upgrade to lighter gear as and when you're able to. You've done a damn sight better than I ever could that's for sure. Keep going, you'll get better and better, and your skill levels will improve 😊😊
@@adrianbrown01 Definitely looking forward to investing in some lightweight gear that’s for sure! Thank you so much- this is such a lovely comment 😭❤️❤️
Well done on that first day! It was a tough one. At least you had great weather. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your adventure 😄
We were so blessed with the weather this whole trip!
😂😂 Awesome❤💚
Well done👏👏💚❤️
Well done💪💪👏👏💚❤️
SO REAL
where's the rest of the walk?
Still in the editing process :)
Beautiful💚❤️
😂 Very true💚❤
The slidy sunnies seemed pretty annoying. The pretty landscape makes up for the struggle!
They were annoying! But I recently lost them in the sea so now I have an excuse for a new pair!
Your far from boring ❤
Walking poles are a game changer for injuries and knee pain, especially on the downhills 👍🏻
@@BackpacksNSnacks Yeah I got them in the Lake District about a month later and I absolutely love them 😍
This video has such a peaceful and relaxing vibe :) Subscribed!
@@EmmasNatureEscapes thank you so much! that’s so lovely of you ❤️
Breathtaking presentation my friend! These shots are amazing!
Thank you so much! That means a lot ❤

@@Helen-and-Katarin-Juska-law Haha thank you!
Glad the weather was kind to you at the top 👌
I was so lucky on the way down- perfect golden hour!
@@girlintheweeds yeah I’ve done it at a similar time, walking straight into the sunset 👌👌
cool video thanks for sharing you adventures , Looks like a very lovely place
Thank you! It's so beautiful yes!
I would just jump off
Watch where you park though. Traffic wardens brutal there!
@@johannebaker9730 i don’t drive but thank you!
@@girlintheweedslikewise I have two legs
wait thought u were going mam tor 1st lol not rush up edege thats the other side lol and that is nothing for the wind if u camp on kinderscout it be like 40mph winds feel like ya tents gonna be destroyed ha! plus the tent your in isnt really desgined for 2 people, most "2 people tents" are great for 1 person and there gear and have some space, but further down the line u will get lighter gear and know what not to bring also seems cloe bag is hanging low that will cause back problems without it sat properly ( y )
Beautiful ❤
Dear (Girl in the Weeds) Hope you are doing well. I was analyzing your RUclips channel . I'm really impressed by your videos but your RUclips channel has some issues. You have made many videos but your RUclips channel is not getting views and subscribers. Your thumbnail design is not attractive, you should use good thumbnails to increase your video views, because a good thumbnail increases a video views. Because you have no complete SEO any videos, Channel tags are not SEO friendly, Video Tag is not SEO friendly.not SEO friendly title and description. If you complete all tasks then you get more views and subscribers with monetization.
So worth it
This country is one of the most beautiful in the world.
Nothing better than still being warm in high winds and a t shirt up on the moors, though!
that's so real 💀💀 also first!! ❤
Those welsh hills are just stunning, the whole of wales is just beautiful. Keep going girl, been following you since your first video blog. Youre doing great, look forward to your next vlog 😊😊
@@adrianbrown01 Thank you so much for your support ❤️ It is so stunning! Wish I could go more often
Oh noooo… Seems like such an unlucky trip to one of the luckiest places to be in!
Your videos are very nice and effective. But your video views are less, because SEO is not done. Doing SEO will increase the views compared to before.

What a great place! Good video too 🙂
Great video. I live in porthmadog. I love going to dinorwig quarry. Can i ask which route did you take up to the Anglesey barracks. The miners cottages as u go up to the quarry
Amazing place isn’t it. Could spend all day there 👌
