I Decided to Quit Drinking Alcohol! | Personal Vlog - Making an Alcohol-Free Wine-Like Sober Treat
Просмотров 14811 месяцев назад
After numerous dry stints, I realized it was time to make the change permanent...over 4 months now at the time of this recording. I also thought it would be fun to make an 'alcohol-free' tincture-like wine substitute. I'll give my try a 4/5 stars this time! Who else has decided to go on a similar journey, or who has been considering going alcohol-free? Let me know what you think! Music from #Up...
My Health Journey | Overcoming Amputation Disability, Binge Eating, Body Image, and Coming Out
Просмотров 374Год назад
For my third 'personal diary' type video, I wanted to step away from focus solely on my disability/amputation and start reflecting on my relationship with my body, food, exercise, and health in general. Like my previous videos, this just scratches the surface of my own experiences. This is a rather personal video, so my tone is a BIT more serious than previously. Lots of these thoughts and feel...
Experiences with One Leg | Things People Say to a Left Leg Amputee
Просмотров 407Год назад
Thank you for the support on my first full video! That prompted me to continue this series at least a little bit longer and continue talking a bit about my own life with one leg. In this installment...I decided to pick a few random things people have said to me. Some of this is serious, but most of it is all fun and hopefully sheds some light on a more specific part of my experience. Hopefully ...
Living WITHOUT A LEG? Life with a Prosthetic Leg: Overcoming Obstacles, Exercise, and Showing Off
Просмотров 798Год назад
This is my very first video I've uploaded to this channel! I wanted to share a little of my life experience and hopefully connect with new communities. Living with one leg isn't easy, and it comes with challenges along the way, but nothing that can't be overcome! Feel free to ask me questions, or I don't know...say weird stuff or something. Thank you!! Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): ...

Thank you for being open and sharing this with us. We all struggle with various issues and it isn't easy sharing them as openly as you have.
Aw, thank you so much for that! I’m glad I was able to use this outlet to reach out and have you kind enough to listen! 🙃

I shared this with a neighbor who is a recent double amputee. Thank you for sharing!
Mikey this is a great story of a great man who is a very open man. It is much the same way as i stay in life be positive and open about things and take care of your body. I hope you make much more video's .
Thank you for this very informative video. I appreciate your openness. I follow you on IG and love the fun pics you post. For a future video, could you talk about how being an amputee impacts your life as a gay man? (If that's not being too personal) Thank you again!
Good suggestion!! Thank you!
Very informative! You are very natural in front of the camera! Once you find your voice look forward to seeing more content!
Yo, Mikey: Awesome video, man. Works for a variety of exposures to amputations. Great intro to Prosthetics 101! I am an amputee also-bilateral AK/BK, combat related. I’ve adapted to this & actually used this as a life motivation. I can see you understand this in your life. I use prostheses: BK Pinlock/AK Pinlock/C-leg 4. I also compete in sports using a TiLite chair-hoops, ice hockey, rugby. Some road work using a recumbent bike. I have contacted you several times, but I think your impression might have been that I was just another “freak!” I get that a lot, but make no judgements. Although it can be annoying. So, Mykee, I hope we can be friends. I am respectful, chill & motivated. I hope to hear from you. I live in Northern California. So, you have an open invitation to come up and ski. Great challenge. Take care, dude. Bo Ryker👍🏼🦿🦿
Thank you, Ryker! I will be on the lookout more closely, and I'm happy to connect and share experiences!
