Christmas is a pagan holiday co-opted by Christianity after repeated attempts at wiping it out. They couldn't, it was too embedded in almost every culture. So when they couldnt beat it, they joined it. They retroactively moved "Jesus's" birthday from somewhere in September to December the 25th, and then moved his "resurrection" to Easter. Another pagan holiday of fertility. But try as Christians might, they couldn't completely remove all traces of the pagan holiday. Which is where christmas trees, yule logs, feasts and decorations still linger. So. No. Christmas has pretty much nothing to do with Christianity, except its merciless and failed attempts at its destruction.
