what is the tongs?
i totally understand your explanation
In a summary: “so”
SO 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
Thank you🫶
Your explanations are very good ,Thanks. Also a request plz upload a video solving Paper 6 Chemistry
Thank yiu❤
thank you for this but wouldn't it be better if you had the mark scheme next to you to show us exactly what the marker wants
I made the videos more so to give certain tips for questions and how to do them if they don't already understand the mark scheme. but it would be better if I could link the markscheme... Thanks for the feedback ! 😃
does the methodology have to include the 3 variables or you can write them out seperately during the test?
Can write separately
@@igcsewithhan so it’s the same format as yours although just 3 paragraphs one for the variables one for the method and one for the repeat the experiment and safety precautions?
@@ArjunRUclips-bd9nf yes u can do that, as long as everything is stated it should be fine. Just method should be written in order
@@igcsewithhan okay tyvm this video helped a lot
29:01 can it be potassium dichromate?
Supposedly can, but since potassium permanganate is a stronger oxidising agent it is a safer answer. They didn't accept dichromate as an answer in markscheme though...
3:28 we have to write , Prokaryotic cell and Eukaryotic Cell
Damm that had to be the best explanation
7)i) how to know which substances are colorless?
just have to remember, transition metals generally have colour
@@igcsewithhan yeah but some are white and some are colorless
@@aaaa-ri8is theres no easy way to determine, but KBr KCl and KI are all colourless when dissolved in water
Han sir, I'm really thankful to you... This video helped me to go quickly through the concepts I learned in my previous years✨I'm a high school senior... Keep doing great sir💜
question 28 I still don’t understand why it’s C over D
- Group I *Nitrates* (e.g. Potassium Nitrate) undergo _slight_ thermal decomposition, and only produce a Metal *Nitrite* and O2 gas unlike *Nitrates* of other groups. - Group II *Carbonates* (e.g. Magnesium Carbonate) always undergo thermal decomposition. - Group I *Carbonates* (e.g. Potassium Carbonate) don't decompose because they are particularly stable.
Dont understand Q39 why 3 is correct since if 3 us correct than 1 also has to be correct ??
1 is wrong because H-H further reacts with chlorine to produce H-Cl
35:22 why do we substitute again?? they said *ethane* reacts with chlorine and not *chlorethane* so in my opinion it should be D
but, even the reaction of ethane with chlorine can give dichloroethane. in fact, there can be 4 different products in the substitution reaction of methane ; chloromethane, dichloromethane, trichloromethane and tetrachloromethane. I think for ethane there might be 6... but I'm not sure about Ethane
@@spiderking0038but if dichloro is an answer shouldn't be h-h also be an answer since two H's were substituted?
The reason why 3 is correct is because it didn't specify that the reaction has to be between ethane and chlorine, further substitution can still occur. As for why H-H is not considered a product it is because H-H reacts with the chlorine to become H-Cl.
alr thnx guys
they didnt specify the time and amount of each reactant so the reaction will continue even to form other products like Tetrachloroethane hope that helps
thank you so much it helped me so much and now i can do chemistry paper thanks 😊❤
I think there’s a mistake in your workings for Q5. You asked us to use the electron number but instead you used the nucleon number. It’s supposed to be (7+3) instead of (14+3) becuz u don’t get the same answer for the rest. Could u pls recheck. TQ
hi, thanks for spotting my mistake! However the answer is the same
excactly i was so dam confused on this question ty :)
@@SamsungUserForSomeReason hehe ofccc!!
wish u made vids when i was still doing igcse 💔🙏🏻
Should i wright iv: before wrighting my iv or i should write the iv directly
u should write what variable u r describing. e.g. the independent variable of the experiment is (insert answer).
Not in syllabus
This is based on 2024 examination syllabus
instead of measuring the time taken for color change , can i wait for a set amount of time and compare the color change in the test tubes using a color chart for benedicts solution
Yes u can !
i learnt so much! 🙌🏻
Good! 👍
Can i test for starch instead of reducing sugars using iodine solution? measure the time taken for no colour change to occur?
Technically speaking you could but would be MUCH more difficult. You would have to find a way in order to show that the level of starch is different over time, because iodine test is a yes/no test, no in between. One way that could MAYBE work is taking small samples and using a colorimeter, but personally I think it is way safer to test for reducing sugars.
life saver , tysm. keep t up !!!!
Thank you sir❤
I would like if u post more before monday 26 because ill have exam
Good luck for yoyr exam today cause i have the same exam today 😭💀
@@Abdulhadi-ki5bu good luck me too
nice
can we write like this in bullet points? or paragraphs
paragraphs !! Always paragraphs
@@igcsewithhancan we list the variables as bullet points though? or no?
@@kthsetrnl You could, but I would advise against it. For some reason I believe it is much more strict in bio and chem than physics XD. (P.S. I see u are a moa too!)
@@igcsewithhan i see!! thank u so much for ur help, and yes!! didn’t know u were a moa too ^^
Ty man you saved me
thank u
In 13:07 could we just say until repeat entail we obtain similar results ?if not why did you write the 0.2 at the end ????
Hi, the 0.2 at the end are just the standard error values for titration. It isn't clear enough for the examiner if you just say repeat until obtaining similar results because at what point is it not similar anymore? Hope that helps ❤
@@igcsewithhan great explanation ❤️🙏
keep it up sir!
thank you
thank you
tysmmm!!!
no problem !!
Wonderful
why SxFy, cant we put fluorine first? and how can we know which is positioned first?
LOL I HAD THE EXACT SAME DOUBT JUST NOW BRO 😂😂
Did you figure it out yet?
hello ! Generally when naming u want to put the metal before the non metal, that's usually standard.
@@igcsewithhan ?! It's a covalent compound! It's non-metal non-metal!!
@@khubaibhaseeb1095 oh my days, that completely flew over my head ! sorry about that, but in a non-metal non-metal scenario they don't cover why S is before F when writing the compound out in the IG syllabus. If you are curious it has to do with the electropositivity of the elements, but in this scenario my advice would probably just remember most of the time the halogens will be at the back. Sorry again for misunderstanding the question 😅
I have a bio lab examination tomorrow and this video explained an atp paper in 30 minutes better than my bio teacher did in 2 years. Thank you so much Han for solving this paper! You have saved my biology grade!
I'm glad to have helped you !
Please continue uploading more videos as they very helpful! Keep up the good work🥰😘

bro you explained in detail nice video
thank you bro very helpful video
❤❤❤
Please make more of these videos! it is rlly helping me a lot! 😭😭
you rlly helped me understand the question! great explanation
Hi sir, really grateful for you covering this topic, although I may need to comment that sometimes when you do questions that are at the end of the page, the video recording doesn't show it so may want to keep the recording in the middle of the paper for most of the recording so that the last question of the page can be seen.
thanks for the heads up !
😍
Hi sir, isnt the zinc extraction out from the syllabus ? Please answer when you can, Thank you for the video, it was greate❤
hey, I don't think zinc extraction is in the syllabus anymore, but they might link this to another topic/chapter so it can't hurt to learn it as well!
@@igcsewithhan Okay! Thank you sir💞
for question 2 d(iv) for calculate the concentration of Ca(OH)2 in 25.5cm cubed of the limewater. i did 0.005/25/1000 just like you but i got 0.2 instead of 0.02...
it is because u used 0.005 instead of 0.0005 ! hope that helps
@@igcsewithhan yes I realized 😭
