Stop motion: Climbing!!!
Thanks to my dad!! He took me to this awesome park, we decided it will be cool to make a stop motion here. We did, and it came out great! Thanks again dad 😃😃

Good job My friend 👍💪☀️

Why waste the time fuel and machinery just to pile high.

Un sacco di energia per accumulare la sabbia e un altro sacco per spianarla.Se vogliamo salvare noi stessi impariamo meglio a usare le risorse.
That was painful to watch. The amount of fuel being burned, the wear and tear and all that unproductive motion wow
Move dirt that’s what that machine is built to do? Proper operating technique to optimize productivity and efficiency is how knowing how to bulk material, build and work stockpiles is entry level stuff??
This pile is built by a walking stacker conveyor. There is no access to the top other than how he did it. Far as I'm concerned watching this being experienced in handling these stock piles and this size dozer he did ok. The machine got up there the job is done he went home that evening the machine will work just fine tomorrow. If you have a better solution no one is holding you back from showing us the "correct" way.
@@dustywelchcraneman6614 Clearly the material supports the weight of the machine so the material is irrelevant here as I said before the fundamentals of stockpile management, maintenance and construction remain the same with a loader bucket this technique may be required but using the proper operating technique for the equipment being run is everything in order to reduce fuel consumption to control repair costs and overall longevity of the machine itself again this is entry level stuff managing a stockpile in simple term a D10 dozer is designed to push PUSH large amounts of material, not to back blade period. I guess that’s why companies from all over the world call us to come in and evaluate and retrain their operators. Give us a call and we would be happy to come in and teach you and your operators correct procedure and technique for stockpile management as it is a component of our basic entry level training program believing this is the only way to do it or the correct way to do it and stating you are experienced at this in the same paragraph clearly shows a need for further training and we are more than happy to provide it for you but of course not on RUclips for free.
Nobody said he is a bad operator? He clearly has control of his machine and operates his machine safely Just an operator using the wrong operating technique and costing the company more money than he should. It is one thing to be able to operate the controls of any machine by developing muscle memory, but knowing the proper operating techniques in order to make that machine complete the job safely, efficiently and CORRECTLY is another story and that’s why companies like ours exist and companies like yours hire companies like mine.
Wow is the operator a 10 year old? This guy is trash…
If the goal was to get to the top to work the pile would it not have been easier to come from the end and cross cut working towards the top.
I just used this technique to move a mile of topsoil to cover sand in 4 and half days. Piles weren't nowhere near this size though. It takes machine control to pull this off.
What is the point of this exercise?
Chop the pile down.
Hi, Folks. Isn't great that so many 'armchair experts' watch these videos and so freely and willingly offer up their criticisms and advice? Just my 0.02. You all have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
I am not 1 of them, but experienced big dozer operators also know how to work a computer. Doesn't it stand to reason that they just might come here to comment on the best way to tackle something such as this?
Hi, @@andrewc0128. Experienced dozer operators, especially those with experience on coal stockpiles. would KNOW that there is no easy way to get on top of such stockpiles because there is very little traction to be had from the side of a stockpile like that. You HAVE to drag it down and compact it a bit. Iron ore product - 2" - 3" lumps - is even worse. BTW, I am STILL in my apprenticeship - only 57 years so far - and counting. Just my 0.02. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Can’t you see where your going ,shut the door
Hi, @@muzza566. He might not like A/C - or it might not be working. Whos but is it in that seat anyway? Just my 0.02. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

A quicker way to get to the top.. side cut stock pile.. push material across to create toe of ramp.. get up in half the time

Other than wearing out tracks, pads and rollers what is going on here? Oh yes, burning some diesel.
All the pros are home watching RUclips.
Puñetero
Uh, ok I don't get it but ok.
One thing I see he should do different when climbing a pile is to keep the blade low. Just above the dirt. It helps transfer some of the weight to the front of the tracks for more traction.
Oò
Agreed, I’m stockpiling tonight with a 10
Gooooooood
Would be quicker and less expensive to use a shovel.

Hmmm....ok
Fkn clueless 😏
I'd have gone up backwards and pushed it downwards , myself.
So you have never operated a dozer if you think you could get up there backwards you tool
We have ourselves a “RUclips Certified operator” lmao
@@Rocks19065 and you're a tosser as well.
Side cut and you'll be up on top inno time
@@kenrelke I thought that side cutting in material that loose would be an even greater waste of fuel
Time waster
He is acting omg playing
Ramping up prep work to operate on top eventually when the loaders come to load out trucks now that the pile is full.

This is very typical of video posters these days. No information, no explanation and a huge portion of what they post is incorrect or completely non factual.
What a waste of time... money... fuel... and wear/tear on that machine.
bison uberti not sure what your talking about. That's the only way possible to get that little kitty on top of that coal pile!!!

Could have just threw sticks of dynamite at it LMAO 😋
👏
Looks like a waste of fuel to me
Waste of time? Guess not. No one would pay for a D10 to waste time, but were you kidding??
its not your Diesel...sssooo stfu..
What was he trying to do anyway.
Hi, John M. E. I'm only a 'pore, dumb bulldozer operator' but i thoiught it was pretty obvious what he was trying to do - - - get up on top of that stockpile, possibly so that he could cut the top down a bit and/or widen the stockpile base out. Just my 0.02. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
I'm asking the same question ? I would have been more aggressive.
Hi, USSBB62. Would it be a rude 'kwestyun' to ask just how you would have been more 'aggressive'? A kew-ree-yuss mind would like to know. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
I would have tried to backtrack more for more packing effect. What little there is in that unknown material.
Hi, USSBB62. It can always be a bit problematic getting up on top of a stockpile like that in low traction material. Maybe you'd like to try it sometime with a Cat 988A loader or an 824A rubber tired dozer on an iron ore product stockpile consisting mainly of lumps of iron ore 2" to 3" in size. That can be REALLY 'interesting'. LOL. Dry coal doesn't have a whole lot of traction either, especially when it is a slope like that. Just my 0.02. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
