You said price isn't an issue. I tested the RX-9 Carbon and Lift X I am in the same group... Mathews is more linear in the pull which can give a strange feeling when you aren't use to it (I own a Halon 6 currently). It also has a short wall. The Hoyt RX-9 is more expensive, yet it needs the let-off change to feel right. Mathews won't let you be lazy.... Hoyt will let you be as lazy as you want. It is hard to describe... I choose pre-ordering a custom Mathews from Coyote Creek.... Just to let you know what I choose..

Congratulations. Great offering from mathews this year. I'm very thankful to be able to shoot a lift 33, it was a blessing from The Lord. As you said, there are great offerings from manufactures this year. They made huge changes to the platform with the Lift and a very nice touch with the tuning features on the lift x. I've heard that we have hit a plateau on what most bow manufactures can do. We have incredible bows these days.

Mathews switch weight mods are the worst in the industry. Half inch draw length and let off specific mods that are not accurate and cost $80. If you want a nice collection of mods, go with Mathews 👍🏻👍🏻

Look into the bow spider or sager Og or jack o link for carrying slings to help carry your bows in the field and glass

this is not a franchi issue this is an inertia driven shotgun issue in general. every inertia gun I've ever shot had this issue if it got bumped

As far as i know all the A300 shotguns are made in Tennessee. Saves Beretta a bunch on import/shipping. 1301/A400 are made in Italy I believe

Technically you dont need to allow the bolt to slam forward for the gun to still function. It is possible to swap shells or load the chamber Silently by riding the charging handle with one hand and with the other hand use two fingers to rotate the bolt face into battery as the bolt closes. I frequently do this turkey hunting.

I have a fast eddy triple stack that just lays on my bench. Like brand new. Heavy as a brick, and didn't end up liking the vertical pins. They are well built though.

You aren’t pulling thru the shot! Just punching it. Why? You need to learn to pull straight back and not move that thumb. Punching is why you’re anxious at distance because you are having to punch as the pin floats by the target. Focus on the spot and just pull. You don’t have to think about punching. Keep your mind and vision down range. Don’t focus on the pin. It will come to center as you pull. Eventually the pulling will be basically automatic. Not like thinking - ok punch it now! Bow Only Outdoors has great learning videos on release sets and techniques. Watch them.

Appreciate the video - one thing I would suggest is ditching the Madrock and replacing it with either a Megawatt or Skylotec Sirius. Those are true hands free devices where as the Madrock isn't. It is meant to always have your hand on the brake line. I switched to the Megawatt this year. Nice EWO stick btw!

Blind bail shooting will help with target panic and just play chase the arrow. I also think single pin sights make target panic harder to overcome at least for me

My husband ordered a Beretta A300 Ultima for me and a CZ for him a couple of weeks ago. They both came in to Bass Pro in Gainesville on Wed so he went to pick them up. Mind you , my Beretta cost me approx $950, his CZ cost around $600. When we unboxed both, his CZ came in this really nice case with a satin covering, nice bubble wrap and a physical user manual. Really nice presentation. When I opened up my Beretta, with was much more expensive, it looked like it was an air gun or some cheap crap with no fancy nothing, just cardboard type frame to protect. AND it had no user manual. I had to go to the website and down load, and it is very difficult for me to read things on my phone, but I was not about to print out 70 some odd pages on my printer. ALSO, my husband could not find anywhere on the website how to fill out the warranty info. He then utilized the QR code, that takes him to the website, however, it is very misleading and not user friendly AT ALL in navigating the site. And we are not computer illiterates!!! When he did find what he thought he was looking for, it automatically processed some type of payment on his credit card, which flagged his credit card company for possible fraud, and froze his card. He had to jump thru a bunch of hoops to get a new card sent to him. I would think that for the price I had to pay for this shotgun, it would have a much better presentation when unboxed, and certainly no tricky gimmicks on their site that tricks a person into charges on the card. I like the shotgun itself, but I am extremely disappointed with the company, and trying to find a live person to voice my complaints is next to impossible.
