I just finished playing Ultima for the Apple II, I played many home computer and console games that came before. Personally I thought it was a very smooth experience and kept me engaged the whole way through:))

The Ultima series is one of the most important sagas in the video game industry and in my own life. At least as impactful as the Might and Magic and Dungeon Master series. I actually started with Ultima V on the Atari ST, which was a great game at the time, but I didn't really play it seriously until I finished Ultima VI, VII, VII- 2 and Ultima Underworld 1. I never managed to finish Pagan. and abandoned Ascension because of the general nonsense of the game (I actually really tried because the soundtrack was really nice and, as a musician, the soundtracks are really important to me). I have never played Akalabeth and Ultima I. I have these games on my computer but have never tried them. This review rekindles the flame. Well done, very interesting.

Deep, accurate review! I guess you don't have a lot of likes because of the tone of voice and lack of a catchy presentation but you're a very good reviewer: keep on doing useful videos like this

This game is the first thing I install on any new computer. 😄I think the music really adds to the overall atmosphere. I love the level design too.

I was literally in love with that game back then. I still don't understand now how I managed to finish it. I started a new game not so long ago and I'm struggling like hell to be as good as I was when I was young. The atmosphere is just incredible. Nice review btw, your voice is soft and clear, it's a pleasure to listen to you. Are you planning to make more Ultima reviews? A lot to say about those games.

The reason for the "death spiral" of a primary industry is that station rating takes the speed of it's vehicles into account. If the production is so slow that your vehicles wait a lot, it lowers the production even further, resulting in a feedback loop.

Small correction: OpenTTD doesn't stand for "Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe". You are correct with default industries, you can't really get them to grow except by raising your station ratings, and they will naturally ramp down and close in order to force you to keep building new routes (so everything isn't so automatic). NewGRF industry sets pretty much all ditch this in favor for being permanently available, and feeding supplies back into them so that they can increase production. And thank you for trying out Modern Motion music set - I made that :)
