must disamble like everything. also motherboard must be taken out, to remove Screen hinges. start is to remove the panel between screen & keyboard. + open the screws next to battery pack.

@mieleguy1999 Ur laptop is dead becouse of dust. the dust blocked hot air outflow. So i can not tell what is directly the fault now. Could be NORTHBRIDGE.

Can u help me because my acer aspire 6530 shut down without any notice but then the charging light turned of then i left it for a little while then when i plugged the chager back in the charging light came on but when i turned it back on it showed up the boot screen came up then it turned back of and then the charging light went dimm and then it never turned back on then i smelled the air vent then it smelt fishy

3) look carefully where the screws re in SCREEN. *around the screen, under the AC/DC plug in & also at another side, then is 4 screws in LCD frame - 2 in each side. WHERE RE U LIVING?? if u got paypal - i could sell you mind LCD - i dont nedd it. seems like that i will cut of the screen cover & use it as a desktop PC.

1) take out battery - under battery re screws for takeing off Front media panel. & take out also another screws from batterys area. Its about 10cm long screw side from back. 2) after taking off media panel - u will see the LCD covers screws.... -> they must go out & also WIRELES wires - take a little bit out - so u could move LCD for 5cm more away from laptop & do things witg the SCREEN OPENING.
