Nicotiana Rustica Time Lapse
Here is some old media that I never got around to publishing until now. Sorry for the jump from seedling to budding.
I'm happy to be back. No more online school and sleeping in common areas of houses. I'm cutting less corners when it comes to indoor gardening now. Most notably, I'm using better water quality and air circulation this time. It's too early to say how much more success I'll have yet though.

Phalaenopsis Orchid Bloom Time-Lapse
Просмотров 8044 года назад
I shot these flowers right before moving to another desert environment. I'm not sure how long I'll be there. It depends on when in person class becomes required at my school. But I'll try to make some new plant stuff work in the future. My videos will probably not be recorded on my phone anymore. I messed up my phone while doing some filming in some overnight rain. Now my phone only trickle cha...

Datura Innoxia Bloom Time-Lapse Plant #2
Просмотров 15 тыс.6 лет назад
Datura innoxia sown on the 11th of February 2018. I had much more success growing it in the ground instead of in a pot as I did last time. ruclips.net/video/Fj4XW18xmLA/видео.html It seems to grow pretty well except that it wilts dramatically in the 100 °F (40 °C) summer heat. The wilting hinders the plant's ability to bloom and produce seedpods. Music Used: Madi Larson x MYSTXRIVL ~ LEFT BEHIN...
Papaver Somniferum Blooming Time-Lapse
Просмотров 178 тыс.6 лет назад
Poppies are beautiful. But I suspect these ones were stunted because of my hard, clay soil. I dug a cylindrical space six feet in diameter and about 15 inches deep into my native soil and amended it. There was a clear difference between this year's and last year's blooms. (Last year's blooms were the size of my thumb). But it appears that something was still wrong with my soil since the roots o...
Rooting a Cactus (Stenocereus Griseus and Opuntia Basilaris)
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.7 лет назад
I managed to find a rather large cactus stem that had fallen on the ground and rooted it. There are clips of me rooting an opuntia basilaris too, but the main focus is on the stenocereus. I identified the stenocereus griseus (incorrectly) myself using the internet and some library books. The school I found it at did not have any records that would tell me what it was for sure. If you think I am...
Rooting a Cactus (Bridgesii) Part 2

Rooting a cactus is more than just sticking it in dirt and watering it. Watch as I strategically give these cacti water, dry periods, shade, and sun, explaining my reasoning, thoughts, and observations along the way. Any questions? Ask me. This morning glory of the Heavenly Blue variety was grown from a seed approximately two years old. Salvia Divinorum Grow Log Plant #2 (Failure)
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.7 лет назад
I don't think I am completely to blame for the untimely death of this Salvia divinorum plant. I plan to try again next spring as long as nothing comes up that would prevent me from growing another plant. I really want to put that greenhouse to use. To avoid receiving another weak plant like this in the future, I may either get in touch with customer service to try to guarantee a strong plant, o...
Datura Innoxia Bloom Time-Lapse 96 Hours
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.7 лет назад
The flower lasts for less than 24 hours, but this video shows the green petal emerging and eventually turning white, followed by a dramatic bloom. One picture was taken every 30 seconds. Also, the 8th of April was windy which interferes with the fluidity of the time-lapse, but the wind dies down by the following day. This is the very first bloom on this plant and this was the very first time I ...
Echinopsis Subdenudata Blooming Time-Lapse
Просмотров 11 тыс.7 лет назад
This small cactus produces a big, beautiful, and scented flower. Watch it bud, bloom, and wilt. The time-lapse portion of this video uses pictures taken at 30 second intervals. Perhaps when this cactus shows considerable growth, I will post a grow log video. Maybe in a few years. Until then, I should be posting videos of my other plants in the style of my Salvia divinorum video along with more ...

If you are lying in bed sound asleep, you can dream up a hallucinated alien chasing your hallucinated body while you fight it off with a hallucinated machine gun which can puncture its hallucinated skin resulting it a hallucinated victory and even a hallucinated feeling of joy. So in a dream - precisely BECAUSE everything is a hallucination - a hallucinated weapon is very useful. Without it, you might get eaten alive! Now, what if what you call “reality” works just like that? If you’re like the typical person, you hold hallucination as a category of experience which is separate from ordinary “real” experience. To you, hallucinations are clearly unreal and inferior to real perceptions. But now I want you to consider the radical possibility that everything is a hallucination! Consider that there are not two categories of experience, one “real” and one “hallucinatory”, but only one category: hallucination. You might wonder, Why call this one category hallucination instead of perception?” Because hallucination is closer to the fact. Hallucination is defined as perception without an object. Which is EXACTLY what we’ve got! Perception = hallucination! There is nothing else behind it! There is no physical, external world behind your everyday perceptions. Which literally means that what you think of as solid, tangible, physical, material reality is just a hallucination, albeit a rather persistent one - one which is shared by most of the people in your tribe. That is, until you start to play around with altered states of consciousness or psychedelics. Then you quickly realize how intangible, unreal, and hallucinatory your everyday experience was all along. This is exactly why psychedelics are so effective. And also exactly why they are so demonized by mainstream culture.

    P. somniferum is one of mother nature's most stunning, versatile and beautiful plants. I love the way they hybridise and produce myriad awesome new flower types and colours, I love the enjoyment of the multiple bees visiting the blooms in the early morning. I love when a good strain is correctly planted it will easily reach chest height at bloom time. I love the way farmers in Tasmania selected plants for maximum alkaloid content, then altered them to produce thebaine instead of other alkaloids. I love the taste of a traditional, sweet poppy seed strudel from my local cake shop...
