Courtney is an aspiring dance choreographer based in the metro Detroit area. She attended Marygrove College and earned BA's in Math and Dance. Currently, she is a HS math teacher in Detroit, but still very much involved in performing. Some community and professional experience includes working with Inspire Theatre (Westland, MI), Cedar Point, and Wayne Memorial HS's theatre and marching band.

@@drmgb It's a musical theatre audition and I keep screwing up. That's it. The Spamilton songs parody from Hamilton, 1776 (Mama Look Sharp), The Music Man (76 Trombones), The King and I (Shall We Dance) and The Lion King mashup before using Memory from Cats and the opening song dance break from A Chorus Line which itself is an audition show.

She deserved a whole lot more enthusiasm than she was given, I was impressed with how long she could hold herself on one foot
Thank you for the compliment. If by enthusiasm you mean audience applause, this video is the professional copy from the event. They sit at an open window and have a mic that sticks out to only capture the music and mute the sounds of the rest of the arena. The audience was small, too. A fun fact too: They combined me with the skater one level higher than me to make it a contested event, so I was up against Barbie who had 30 seconds longer than I'm allotted.
What an interesting mash up - the two songs are a perfect fit!
The Piano Guys do that a lot, mashing classical with contemporary.
