Just me but i would have sprayed again and waited for the next round of rain, dont hurt to plant a week or two later on brassica, don't want them to get over mature , and could get a better kill on that grass and with brassica they still mature after the first frost cause it's usually not enough to set them back. Im sure im preaching to the choir but would not hurt to mention that cause 99 percent of people plant brassica way to early

Be careful. The new Coyote regulations 50 lb dawgs cant be taken. Have you seen the regulations , because of a wolf or two in the state? There is a huge difference between a wolf and Coyote. If the Wolves come back on their own the federal government considers them endangered. We won't be able to hunt them. If the DEC introduced them we could.

Sorry you didn't get to see a little more action but that is hunting. A little surprised you didn't strap a set of snowshoes on. In the group that used to hunt with, the guy that did the walking always had them on. If the early risers didn't find a track, we would pick out a good spot. I would slip on the shoes, grab the dog and the BLR 243 and head for the woods or swamp. When I got there I unsnapped the dog and let them do there thing. Most of the time I didn't know were they where but they always figured out were I was. Occasionally they checked in and then they were gone again. I can tell you they put on a lot more miles then I did. There always was that sense of excitement at that first yelp. That was game on.

We all have been there . when those bucks get ramped up they just never stop moving. As bad as it feels at least you missed clean. Hopefully you will putting out thoce yote videos soon.Love your footage the area you guys hunt is beautifull!
