Sorry Bert for not watching sooner but had a Hurrican come through last week. Pointer...charge E-Bike battery, B-4 you lose power lol. But I just wanted to chime in and point out your hand grips. Hard to see but they look like plain round grips? If so, grips with palm extensions are so much comfortable for us older riders. Just make sure if you have a throttle, that grip is shorter so when ordering make sure one is shorter than the other.

Thanks for the ride, Bert. Yup there a lot of walkers that don't know which of the trail to walk on. They don't know their right from their left. Then there are those that split to both sides of the trail, I just stop and assert ON YOUR LEFT! Earbuds and a dog on very long leash all over the place is always a challenge. Ride safe 😁👍

Nice flat trails mostly hills were l live, haven't been out on my bike for a month had a fall at home but should be back out next weekend.

When I'm around people, particularly little ones, I have the pedal assist off, I feel it's safer for all and it's only one button to turn back on. I think too many e-bikers forget the "e-bike" part of the bicycle is intended as a pedal assist, not a racing tool or for keeping up with road traffic. In fact, if your "e-bike" can keep up with road traffic, it is probably illegal on shared trails and the road.

Heya Bert. Great to see another good video 👍 I wasn't aware that you Hailed from south Chicago. Before I moved to Florida, I was in Cicero-Berwyn. Only thing I miss from there is the food 😎. BTW on your next video, can you ask all of us Seniors why we picked the bike we now ride? I for one would like to read the replies. May also help those that are deciding to buy their 1st E-Bike or wanting to get a new one that fits their needs. Have a great week.

Nice video. You know had you completely came to a stop while the one group was passing by he would have still complained and more than likely started an unnecessary argument with you, but as you mentioned later he probably has had some encounters with disrespectful ebike riders or regular bike riders, but water off a ducks back you just move on. I love biking in MN. I’m 54 bought my 1st e-bike. AVENTON 500.3. Love it. I still have my Specialized Roll which rides like a Cadillac. Love your spirit.

Really good vid Bert. Liked the squirrel fact. You mentioned in vid that we cannot see your speed because of camera position, I personally like it because it shows everything from handlebar stem forward including speed. I wonder if viewers have ridden that trike, you passed?

71 here. Just took my first mile or so ride on my Engwe L20 2.0. What a blast took me back to my Stingray days as a teenager. Doesn’t get more fun than this.
