Rest in peace Alan, I loved your acting in the many movies you were in, you played the good guy and the villain so well. I remember when I was a boy I'd get mad at the bad guys like they were really bad people, kids, my dad would say when you really hate the bad guys it's because they're really good actors and of course he was right. The first movie I saw him in was Die Hard and he was an excellent villain, scary ending, for him at least, then he was in Quigley Down Under and again excellent villain and in the Harry Potter movies, as Professor Snape and Alexander Dane in Galaxy Quest and the list goes on and on. Alan entertained us for 46 years and I wish he was here so I could thank him. Rest well Alan, God has you in his care now. ❤🙏

I'm not unconvinced that Benedict is a reincarnation of Alan RIckman. As close as we can get to an actor who approaches Rickmans skill as an actor, and they sound the same. Rest in Paradise Alan Rickman.

Alan Rickman was a gift from God

I sat a couple seats away from Mr Rickman at a sushi bar near Woodland Hills back in 1994. I was there working as an insurance adjuster following the Northridge earthquake. Part of me really wanted to try to talk to him but he was with some other people and I didn’t want to be rude and intrude.

Alan Rickman has played so of the best villains ever and saved Galaxy Quest

Never a finer actor so underestimated. Such a fine person too so humble and generous. That voice knows no equal. And it was even said in a study done that his voice has the "perfect" pitch. I was 10 years old when I saw Robin Hood and that was a done deal for me. He was so great at comedy too just hilarious in Dogma and Galaxy Quest. From villain to comedian, distinguished gentleman to gunslinger, musicals to eunuch angel....he was the real deal.
