Have you ever dated another person with autism? I am autistic, and I fell for someone who is also autistic a few years back and it was a DISASTER! At first, I thought it was amazing to be with someone who I assumed would understand me better...but that's not at all how it ended up. They actually ran me over with their car a couple summers ago after I cut contact with them for over a year. I'm almost back to normal now, but don't feel like I ever want to date anyone ever again. Also...I channeled most of my obsessive qualities into hobbies...and talking about my hobbies on internet forums of like minded people vs trying to tell anyone who will listen.

The way I saw the video was that he embarrassed differences. I think the video was made with only good intentions. It is though a great problem if the charity is contra productive.

He now did the event and he is deleting comments on his video. I used to really like his videos but I have now unsubscribed from him.

This needs to be viral. People need to hear. Just a question, a lot of people on his stream say the are autistic and love what he's doing, are they just Ill informed?

I have only recently heard of this mark character and I hate him. To be honest, I think mark here is in denial or embarrassed his child is autistic and so is doing all of this as a means of making himself feel better.

“We are not broken, we don’t need fixing”. Getting emotional at that. I’ve thought for so long I was a broken human, and why I couldn’t just “get with the program”. I hope he sees this too.
