Years ago (like 1982) my friends and I took some mushrooms while downtown in Toronto on a summer Friday or Saturday night....In retrospect, that wasn't a great place to do psychadelics for the first time. So much sensory stimulus.....Too much in fact......I was not enjoying it and was "trying to get off the roller coaster" when my friend looked at me and said, " Wow, this is f****ing AMAZING!!!!" and that put a 180 on my attitude; it WAS amazing to be experiencing this alteration of perception and so I decided to see where the ride went, rather than trying to 'drive'....That was the best decision I could have made.....

Wow. I'm so happy for you. What a beautiful story of transformation and what a great way to name what you experienced. That is a fantastic skill as well. Thank you. I also recognize myself in this shift. Honestly, for most of my life, I was not able to have a real inner conversation. I knew that something was not right in me, but I did not know what-until I smoked a joint and started writing down my insights. And I began to fall in love with myself and felt so amazed about what and who I was on the inside. And started creating my life from that Inner knowing. Me. Thank you for sharing and giving me the opportunity to share as well. I might consider micro-dosing.

keep a trip killer and/or dampener on hand if you're not ready to delve into that deeper trip. personally, I lean into the heavy parts and ride that mfkn wave to the teary-eyed end, always come out better for it. but I've also had some great trips after taking the edge off with a low dose benzo (temazepam is one of my favorites for this)

Ariel, it's Joey. I'm a psychonaut, scientist, veteran, was in foster care, PTSD and depression for years. There are no words to describe the experience. I hope you gain more awareness and peace. Terrence McKenna said once you have heard the call, hang up the phone. Use psychedelics as a tool to understand your consciousness. It's a journey each person has to learn for themselves. You are a champion. Harvard is mapping out a DMT realm. I did a heroic dose 6-7 years ago and it changed my life. The knowledge of psychology, sociology, and the total perceptual change of psychedelics was a lot to take in, and it takes time. Please be safe, and really try to establish a purpose when you trip. Ego death is both horrifying and liberating, and it feels like a rebirth. Some parts defy any sort of reason you can bring back to normal consciousness. I just care. Promise me you won't be one of the 22 a day. We live for the ones we lost. There is still beauty in this world. Take care

Yeah, that's it, first become part of military that gets you into combat zones as part of illegal wars in the ME and elsewhere - for the sake of spreading "freedom" and "democracy" of course - and then, not surprisingly, you get a PTSD that you then want to heal with sacred plants, who, by the way, regard all those wars and armed conflicts as foolish human endeavors. Well if you hadn't gone into those stupid wars in the first place, you wouldn't have been suicidal. Too bad all those victims of all those wars don't get the same chance...

I'm so glad to discovering this channel today with this particular video.In my case i was an heroin & crack addict for more than a decade & i wasn't seeing the end of it even if i wasalready on methadone i had every month some relapses & thinked i could never get rid of that crave.Now about a year & a half ago i'v finaly been able to find me some DMT..i'v microdesed first & immediatly felt the healing power & knowledge it contain so one night i finaly took some big hits & broke trough..Then it have been very similar with what Samuel experience sound like i was in a total trance state & i regurgitated the energetical parazite of addiction out of my body. Since then i dont have any crave for heroin. DMT is a blessing.

This is the first time I've heard someone with PTSD talk about having lost their inner monologue. I know a few people who claim to not have one and now I'm wondering if they're carrying around trauma they don't know about (and potentially could get it back with psychedelics.) The people I'm thinking of don't really seem damaged or unable to function in society, but could see a couple of them maybe having had a rough childhood.

I’m 24 and four years I wish I could find a reason to live. I’m so tired of veterans and other higher-ups being the ones who live in this cycle of hardships in enlightenment and the rest of us are treated as lower class individuals she’s gonna cry and everyone’s gonna feel bad for her and screen, but the rest of us are going to be in tears, cause we’re never gonna receive justice even though we’ve had hardships too, I had a friend who tried mushrooms and according to her, she didn’t want me to try them and she always gate kept me because she was a psychological abusive whore could rebound with any of her other friends when she broke up lost a deep connection with, and I don’t think I’m ever gonna find anyone that like that again and I grew up with psychological abuse of parents in high school and I grew up, feeling neglected and left out losing that person has left me hurt to beyond repair and I still don’t have any closure and it’s been years

Its a crime against humanity that these wonderful plants and entheogens have been kept away from the public for so long, extending their bans with one excuse after another.
