Do you restore Cobra 2000
I do restorations on nearly every radio ever made the only drawback is the obvious accusation of parts as some of these radios are hard to come up with the parts that you need it's not so bad with internal semiconductors as it is with mechanics such as Knobs, switches controls and other cabinet parts some can be manufactured as I do sometimes have to do. You just need to understand there is a significant difference between restoration and repair when it comes to the final value and/or cost.

Hi, This is not the little brother of the GE Superbase. The 35825B has the Superbase circuit board in it. This 35825A has the same board as the earlier cybernets. The Superbase and B model boards are double sided and in my opinion work great when everything is working but are so prone to contact trouble between one side of the board to the other that it spoils the good design. The Midland Base 78-999 has the GE Superbase and 35825B boards in it.

That's because he stays to himself he's all by himself he doesn't have a spouse doesn't have many friends and he pretty much just reserves himself to tinkering with electronics and talking smack about foreign policies and interactions with the Chinese government. I’ve searched extensively but failed to find the parts list for this radio. Trying to find the part number for the channel switch and what other radios used the same switch. Reason being my 138XLR was made for the Australian market and came with 18 channel switch for the then 18 designated Aus channels which is of little use nowadays. Can you help me with part number or code and which other radios shared the same part. Maybe a Realistic trc 457/458 model?
