Oh, I almost forgot. Graham's cat's name is "Carmen" which means "an independent woman who lives her life without the control of others". Very telling. The name "Sam or Samuel" in the bible means Adversary and destroyer" Alison means "The noble one" The name "Hydra" means "Many heads, as in a greek dragon with 3 heads" .... there it is! And the name Ellen means "torch of light" .... seeing the truth.

This is an eerie theory and im here for it. I thought of a few things that totally support it. 1. The different women that interviewed for the roomate could be other personalities of Ellen. Note, the "incest survivor" with OCD, The tough one, the promiscuous looking one, the innocent one. Then, there's "Hedy". The one most in her "head". She puts a pillow over his head and shoots him.... but I agree with the theory that he doesn't exist. The worker at the post office mentions that Ellen often comes in looking different. Even questioning if she's an actress, further supporting the theory of multiple personalities. The idea of Sam and Allie moving out and leaving the apartment supports the theory as well. As does the masterbation scene. Allie and Sam were getting it on.... so was Hedy. My theory.... Ellen and her twin were SA'D by her Father and that was the catalist to her killing her twin and running. I think Graham was actually her Psychologist and their friendship was actually them engaging in therapy. Maybe they met by living in the same building and he noticed her mental illness, thus convincing her to let him help her. How'd I do?

A possible theory about his cycle He may use cultures beliefs to make him think he's something he's not so he gets a bite. He doesn't want people to know because of a plan or knowledge he has. The police could easily call the army but the creature has them so afraid. That's why he chose the abandoned places. To fool people from his real plan. The police don't want public info out because the army would get involved and find out what they've done. The creeper is like " look...this is my town, my plan so you'll do as I say or it'll be your ass and anyone else you care about, feed me, allow me to operate or pay the effin price type sh!t" lol

I believe that he doesn't try to imitate Sarah right away or kill her is because of the voice sample being super limited as mentioned, but also he had already noticed in the extended version that his systems were failing. When he grabbed the bar his camo systems were activating unprovoked. His system checks probably calculated that he would not be able to imitate her well enough yet. So she was better left alive for more sampling, which he attempted later on, with very limited vocabulary in the next scene.

Just stumbled on your channel. Love the Predator franchise. They are currently making a 5th film called Skulls with the director Dan Trachtenberg (Cloverfield). Predators was a good return to the jungle.

It wasn't until I rewatched the original, that I started to wonder if Helen herself was the one doing the killings ... and that was after watching a review of the new film that brought up the weirdness of dead bodies piling up around her and raising the possibility that she was the one doing it all. I had forgotten so much detail from the first time I saw the film, decades ago.
