Water in CCTV junction box - damaged connections

Here we have a short video clip to show some water in a CCTV junction box. This was causing a poor picture on the camera. Over time the water had damaged the connections so we ended up replacing the cable with a new high quality cable and fitted a new waterproof junction box. The junction box that was installed was poor quality and not water tight as you can see from the video.
The C button was Cable channel the set top box was for Rediffusion tv set that doesn’t have a tuner as it was cable only tv . When it all changed to satellite tv on cable the cable only sets had to have a set top tuner box to receive normal terrestrial tv channels while C button is for cable tv channels
Long time ago you posted but I have 6 reedifusion cables running under my garden and wanted to cut them to give me access to dig around them are these cables live was just wondering.
Hi, how do you know they are redifusion cables ? Personally I thought they all went overground and not under ground. You be best getting them checked out.
I would double check with a telecom company to be sure these cables are no longer in service
