I would recommend using your ring finger to hold the 3rd valve slide ring. You can tuck both your middle and pointer finger between the ring and the 3rd valve and have your pinky rest on the side of the slide or on top of it. But you sound great for only 7 days!

Hey quick tip, make sure your fingers are not playing straight over the valves. put your pinky on top of the top hook and point your fingers down. keep going broski! ❤
