4 years and over a month later, the series "returns" I quit right after earning in Frosty Frenzy in Dec. 2020. Came back in Chapter 4 Season 3 for one "last" season, placing 344th Unreal. Played a little bit during the OG season, placing third in one of the ranked cups. Still officially done, returned 3 years later and the developers still do not like helping out competitive. Has anyone got any tips on how to nail that first jump first time? I've done it several times but I can't get it consistently, I reckon I may have the alignment right, it's just the jump I seem to be failing but I may be wrong.

I had to redo this mission twice in the remaster. I was going for the platinum trophy, so I was doing it on the hardest difficulty. It was easier to just stealth past them, rather than killing them. BUT. If you go too fast, macmillan decides to just stop and never stands up from proning, making progress impossible It happened twice before I realised that you can't go too far ahead of him. Outside of bugs, playing on the hardest difficulty was insanely hard and I don't recommend it lmao I remember finally getting to the hostage on epilogue, only to hesitate and shoot the hostage 💀

@@Pxndaz I found this strat online for osok where you can just hide in one of the booths while defending the lz Though the luck to not get blown up by a Grenade is frustrating, I got to the end more consistently I don't know how true this is, but apparently if you shake your camera it makes the ai miss you. I tried this on my run and it worked, but it could've been a fluke I had huge troubles with Heat, and that one I did by pure luck. You can sneak past them by running to the right of the field, but oml the rng is insane.

I dunno, I still can't get past them walking RIGHT by you without noticing, ghillie suits or not. Maybe if they'd added a ton more foliage, but it still bugs me to this day.

@@Pxndaz It doesn't bother me MORE, but it bothers me, and to be fair, both are just some of the many reasons this was one of the last CoD games I played.

1. its called strafe jumping, when you turn in the air you gain momentum 2. if you get nauseated by a camera moving in a video, then you should probably stop watching videos lol

The first skip still works on the remaster! The second doesn’t tho, they put an invisible wall over the mattress
In the remastered we use a completely different way to go out of bounds there that is more difficult.

@@bigtoneofgod. Just shows how people who come into the COD community late don't respect where the game has come from and you should listen to the people who say COD is not like it use to be. It is filled with bunny hopping, unusual sprinting speed, and spray and pray. It use to be about accuracy and careful planning of map awareness. It like people who came into the halo community during halo 4 and 5 they keep saying how those two games are the best halo but never played Halo 3 multiplayer. And thus is why I play Hell let loose its more of a mass multiplayer COD than COD is COD today lol. COD 4 and old MW2 was the best days. No over powered movement speed, no fast side to side movement, no bunny hopping. Just pure skill of who was coming around a corner and had the best aim and or map awareness. People today are very much pampered today in COD.
