official EA servers are still online. there are even modded ones with 15x xp (usually a rank up each round. plus camos for some weapons. yes, they are legit...they are also EA servers)

+mete dalçiçek I would say the 960 since I haven't known TERA to work great with AMD cards. But personally I would say get whichever, because TERA tends to run unsatisfactory no matter how good your setup is.

+Ewan Taylor I've seen a few posts about this. I've been using a 970 and a 290x for this game and get stable frames. The best advice I can give is either rollback your drivers or downgrade your OS to see if there's a difference.

+Irion Scar I use a Hdmi cable, yes. You are free to use Dvi or displayport, you will not see a difference. Primary difference is the ability to carry audio (if you are using monitor speakers for whatever reason)

+Yin Kirshi Meh, as far as I know, the game will run jittery at times regardless of setup. Overclocking shouldn't affect performance by much of a margin, (especially since you have a better CPU than me) it pretty much depends on what you're doing in the game. Try turning the 'real time optimization' option to 0 to see if you gain any performance.

***** I already had it turned down to 0 and i also turned the character details down because this is buggy aswell Ive heard thousands of times that overclocking the cpu boost the performance by a ton / would explain why my better cpu (stock speed) runs worse than yours (overclocked to 4,2) i also did some ini tweaks in terms of ATI/Nvidia support (DisableATITextureFilterOptimizationChecks=True / i have a ATI card so i need to put that on false - just an example) - even tho my card should run this pretty much without a problem I'll get my cooler at the end of the month, overclock and comment again so everybody sees how my performance went either up or stayed the same

You had an i3-540 gts 450 and had 40-50 fps, then got an i5-3470 and gtx 680 and i had 60 to 20 fps when fighting... It so seems the this game goes well with an old dual core cpu and runs poorly on a new cpu 4 cores. well sheeeet i was thinking on going inter quad core, but then you are saying this.

23Aike6 Actually the game is shit on any cpu it doesnt matter , but it does run well on really powerful cpu's with lots of speed , i have now an i5-4590 and gtx 770 4gb and it seems to be running well , ofc there are often drops cause thats the game , but its somewhat smooth 50-60 all at preset 5

What's the clock speed of your i5-4590? do you keep it at stock? and what's your ram speed?

23Aike6 yea its stock cause i cant overclock it, it goes up to 3.70 in turbo and i didnt upgrade my ram, my ram is 1333.

you just have a shitty system lol. 1333 isnt that like the lowest possible clock speed on ddr3? also why dont you upgrade to an rx 480 or 1060? your gpu is pretty trash, so obv its not gonna run this game at 1080p max settings. dont blame the game for not running smoothly on your outdated hardware.
