No. You had problems because of this incident for a long time. You are okey with your life now so I think the only thing you should do, is let go of the hate and resentment, but never look back. They have made their decision and just because they make one heartfelt and apologetic massage after years, doesn’t take away your pain, your feelings of betrayal and distrust. So no, they don’t deserve a second chance in my opinion. They didn’t even believe you, so why did she even call you in the first place?! You should close that chapter of life and move forward.
