Aspen Plus Tutorial 7 - Biomass Pyrolysis
In this video I show how to model a biomass pyrolysis process. Biomass pyrolysis is proposed as a base conversion process for producing chemicals, fuels, and power from biomass. This shows how to model an RYield block in Aspen Plus.
This is a video walkthrough of Chemical Engineering Process Modelling course material using Aspen Plus V9.

In this video I show how to model a Rankine Cycle which is used to produce power from steam. This shows how to model a closed loop in Aspen Plus. This is a video walkthrough of Chemical Engineering Process Modelling course material using Aspen Plus V9.
Aspen Plus Tutorial 4 - Drying

In this video I show how to model a drying process but quite differently. If you need to control the moisture content this is one way to model a drying process. This is a video walkthrough of Chemical Engineering Process Modelling course material using Aspen Plus V9. The method is loosely based on "Getting Started Modeling Processes with Solids" esupport.aspentech.com/S_Article?id=000064733
Aspen Plus Tutorial 3 - Solids

Here we model a biomass material in Aspen Plus using ultimate and proximate analysis, and its particle size distribution. This way we can model size reduction through a mill or grinder and a screen. This is a video walkthrough of Chemical Engineering Process Modelling course material using Aspen Plus V9.
Aspen Plus Tutorial 2 - Reactors & Heat Exchangers
Просмотров 179Год назад
In this video we look at modeling reactors via stoichiometry - a combustion reactor and simple heat exchangers to recover heat. This is a video walkthrough of Chemical Engineering Process Modelling course material using Aspen Plus V9.
Aspen Plus Tutorial 1 - Introduction to Aspen Plus

    How you give fractional conversion value ?

    • @jeromeramirez5989
      @jeromeramirez5989 14 дней назад

      Not sure what you are asking about but you can specify the fractional conversion in RStoic specification. You can also change it via Calculator depending on the target moisture content as shown in the video.
