Hey, I'm Ben! I really enjoy engaging in activities related to technology, though I tend to focus primarily on Blender, 3D printing, and various tech products. Ideally, I'll eventually start creating more programming-related videos with Unity or web development. Thanks for joining me on this journey! :)
Currently, my upload schedule aims to include a video a week, with Thursday as the goal. However, lately, there have been a lot of Saturday and Sunday uploads.

Get Two Colors On First Layer Without AMS // Bambu Studio
Today's all about getting two layers on the first layer using Bambu Studio without an AMS addition. This can really be done with any printer using Bambu Studio. You do this by manually editing the G-code and adding a pause. It's a workaround since, right now, there isn't the ability to add a pause from the horizontal slider and only the vertical one. Nice think about this is that you can really add a pause anywhere in the print as it's not just limited to the first layer. That said it would take more time to do. say 5-10 pauses. Also worth mentioning that unlike PrusaSlicer, you can't just add the G-code command from the menu, hence the video... I found it to be a bit of a pain, so hopefu...

I Finally Tried a Bambu Lab || A1 Mini First Impressions

Well, I finally did it! I tried a Bambu Lab 3D printer, specifically the A1 Mini, as it was on sale for $200. I currently have three Prusa Minis, which are my main point of comparison for this printer. Surprisingly, the A1 Mini also shares some elements with the Prusa XL, a printer in a much higher price range, which I also mention in this first impressions/review video. Overall, this printer h...

I finally got around to making a video about the DJI Neo! I ordered it the day it was released, but it took a while to arrive. Once I had it, I spent a good amount of time experimenting with it. Since winter arrived, much of my experience has involved testing it in cold environments, specifically up in Alaska. Fortunately, I’ve also had the chance to test it in warmer environments, like where I...

There is an easier way: upload your 360 image to a cloud drive, navigate to the location via the oculus browser, download the image, and open it in the native image viewer. There is a setting to change from a flat image to a 360 image.
Do you get any fumes or odor from printing pla, also is it ok to use in a house thanks
There's probably something, though the only time I notice it is when it gets really hot in order to swap filaments. Either way you should be fine to print in a house.
apparently, this is too old, now.
Great job with this tutorial. Do you have any additional tutorials. Thanks!
RS ONE 1 is better. Anyone choosing x4 is being paid by insta.
Quick and to the point, thank you! I would love to see which keys you're pressing like some other tutorials though, it's a lot easier to know what you're doing then :)
Hey, year old video, but if it weren't for this video, I wouldn't have been able to add an animated text intro to my video. I just want to say thank you for making this and giving this knowledge to me, and many other viewers. Big preesh (Markiplier reference)

Look,Ben just hear me out okay? I'm not here to steal your information,or rob you or whatever you're concerned about,I'm here to negotiate with u about something with your shop but I cant put more since youtube will delete my comment as you and I already seen just see what I've got to say like I said before dis or whats is fine.

Dude why did you go through the trouble to move the big printer outdoor?
Lol, I think it adds to the video. Otherwise it would just be a bland wall. Sure it takes a while but I like the result.
@@Dragon3D its looks like you drove for hours and then hauled it up a mountain haha
Excellent video Thank You!!!!
I try to hit control B to be the edges, but instead of rounding out the edges like it’s supposed to just distort the entire thing how do I prevent this from happening?
How do you bevel? It won’t let me?
dude i listening to music and i thought the background music was my song (i have a button on my headphones that mutes everything and after i talked to someone i unmuted it on this video)
bro honestly that's pretty fire
Thanks man!
@ aye no problem, did you need to make any kinds of iterations for it? Because I’m making a utility knife right now and there are soo many iterations that I need to make in order for it to work properly
@ Yeah, certain parts needed multiple tries but that's the advantage of 3d printing 🫠
@@Dragon3D noice, I'm actually working on 3D printing a utility knife right now, and it's taking a bunch of variations
Cool game ! btw I would put the full message but as you and I already know youtube will remove my comment so you dont have I G you have whats or dis so I can cntact you ? (edit) cmon Ben it would benefit you just see what I have to say.
as a mac user this helped a lot! thanks man!

This is amazing. Thankyou!
Until it breaks. Then you are left with complications and tiny parts that can only be made by bambu. Its cheap and its disposible. I own one. I will not own another bambu product. They are too cheaply made.
Uh it’s not that complicated and very easy to get parts from Bambulab. Have you looked into how easy that is or are you just assuming?
Mine broke after 7 months of ownership and needs about $100 total in parts plus I'll need to take it apart and replace. Bambu said they are "consumables". Before I put $100 into another A1 mini, I'm going to try something else or maybe buy an A1 since I have the AMS lite. Disappointed it broke so quick since I don't print that much. I'm looking hard at the core one...
The mini will leave you wanting more. If you're in the market get the full A1 combo.
get the Bambu cool plate super stack, perfectly smooth first layer and definitely no white marks, and less warping as well
Only 4k subs? Give it enough time and it will definitely grow. It’s just me, but I can see this channel getting big eventually.
I’ve owned every PRUSA variant up to 2022 All I can say is that for entry level models, the A1 and the A1 mini is far superior to my Prusa Mini and Prusa Mk3/Mk4 and for only one reason: price to performance For example the A1 Mini is currently half the price and triple the features when compared to a Prusa Mini+. Why buy a single Prusa mini for $450 when that can get me 2 A1 minis in equivalents?
My 4 years old mk3s is making better prints than new bambu a1mini. If you still got mk3 update software it makes difference.
@@michawasiljew6620 Print quality usually comes down to settings and print profiles.
I'm not a Prusa hater by any means. However, there are a lot on Market place in my area...along with many other brands except Bambu.
Not really the best indicator of a product’s performance, however PRUSAs are still really good printers, often touted the Ferrari of 3D printers back in the day. I will admit though that in the 4-5 years I’ve owned the Prusa Mini+, the performance is nowhere near the A1 Mini, and neither is the price. At $450 (before shipping costs), that Prusa mini already discouraged entry level users from looking at it from the build-plate size, to the lack of a direct-drive feeding mechanism. Its basically the equivalent of the ITX tax often associated with PC building
based on seeing this comment here and on another video. I went and checked mine. I don't see bambu and the only prusa i see in Michigan are minis. Which, maps on what I've heard about the minis vs. the rest of the prusa line.
Keep up the great videos!
great video- thanks! How can you reverse the direction the camera follows the curve?
Bruh bambu sucks
As a company or their printers? As a company I would tend to agree, but if your talking about the printers I would have to ask if you have tried them?
@ both.
@ both of them
@@Official_Skypaper I'm curious about what you have found to be the biggest issue with the printers. I know that some of the early kickstarter ones have had major issues but haven't heard much since. Is there something I'm totally missing?
@Dragon3D have never used them, but the brand is def worse. The printers are not reparable and have horrible waste. I could go on but I just woke up.
You have a lovely voice.
thanks vro
how would you design an enclosed print in place gear system? They would have to print suspended somehow no?
I like how this comes with a Prusa price tag at Creality levels of problems.
Do one with klipper
Didn't expect a kid, had doubts about quality, got proven wrong in 30s, thanks man.

Thanks a lot for the tutorial!!
If that feature actually worked, I wouldnt be here LOL
I have watched numerous videos on the XL and, after having built my first PRUSA in 2017, and it is still working; however, these videos have given me 2nd thoughts about investing in the XL at this time.
Why did you take it to the cliff bud… to push it if the edge ?😅

Thank you, underrated!
Hey Benix, out of this world video! Sorry for the lengthy comment in advance. I was initially leaning toward the Prusa XL, thinking it would finally meet my needs, but after watching your video, I’m now unsure about whether it’s the right choice for my specific requirements. To give you some context, what I primarily need from a 3D printer isn’t necessarily speed, but precision. I often prototype intricate parts that must fit together with tight tolerances, so accuracy is key. I was initially drawn to the Prusa XL for its build volume, which I thought would be ideal, as my typical print heights range from 2” (50mm) to a maximum of 14” (356mm). While I mostly work with single-color prints, I’m also open to multi-color or multi-material options when needed, like the XL promises. However, the most critical aspect for me is achieving a smooth surface finish akin to SLA prints, but without the associated hassle of maintaining an SLA printer. I’ve heard that the Prusa XL’s slicer now includes the Arachne perimeter generator, which promises improved print quality, and that was something I found promising. Based on your extensive experience with various machines, I’d love to hear your thoughts on which printer would best meet these needs. Specifically, I’m looking for precision, ease of use, and the ability to deliver professional quality prototypes, without the maintenance demands of an SLA system. I trust your judgment and would greatly appreciate any suggestions or guidance on what to consider next in my search. Should I keep waiting or should I take the plunge? Thanks again for all the valuable content you create, it’s been a huge help!
Take the plunge.
