I appreciate you brother and I agree, we need to pump the brakes on the Hammas war being the Magog war. However, I would like to invite you into a careful examination of who Gog is. God's word is vague when it comes to evil and prophecy of evil. Nimrod wasn't the king of Babel's name. It just means rebellious leader. There are little horns, man of lawlessness, the fallen ones (Nephilim), and antichrist. And like these titles, Gog is just a title for an evil rebellious leader. An adversary of God. And so there have been many antichrists, Nimrods, and Gogs. Second let's examine what the text tells us of these events. Ezekiel 38-39 tells us that Gog succeeded. Israel die by the sword and are exiled. He says Gog dies in the mountains by a sword. The Lord (Jesus) returns Israel and they have to rebuild. Restoration is involved. Then God shows Ezekiel the Lord in a new sanctuary and rebuilt city in 40-48. Now let's compare to Revelation 20. Jesus is on His throne and in power. Will Jerusalem be invaded and His people killed by the sword? After the 1,000 year reign is the New Heaven and New Earth. Will there need to be restoration? Burning of weapons? In Rev Gog is completely consumed by fire. But in Ezekiel he dies by the sword. They have very different outcomes. I will argue Gog is a title for an invader of Israel at the end of this age and at the end of the millennium. Gog is the 1st rider on the horse in Revelation 6. He has a bow in his hand. And the fire, hail, earthquakes, mountains falling are the sensor and first three trumpets.

Ya just as israel. We didn’t live in peace and safety without walls. Also these countries aren’t all the right ones. Some of us know it’s coming. Some are waiting for Jesus still and missed they He came already and we need to see his back next time he arrives or when got it wrong! We follow Doug & Stacy, too. We have 9 hens (pullets actually), and have been blessed with 6 eggs average all winter. It's been 8/9 this past week. Central Michigan; plenty of snow, but they get to roam the yard when there is grass & above freezing. They benefit greatly from extra meat scraps and beans.
