Those are great looking healthy Micropterus salmoides F-1....They look like our Tennessee River, Lake Chickamauga (reservoir is 39,000 acres +/-) Bass, in Chattanooga,Tn. We (TWRA & Local Anglers) stocked about 150-200,000 F-1 bass fingerlings in and around 2000-2001. By 2007 we were noticing A LOT of 5-7 lb. bass at our tournament weigh-ins. As of 2015, it regularly takes 30-35+ lbs. to win a 5 fish tournament in the spring. We've had a few 40-45lb. bags ,with a couple that were right at 50lbs. The big fish in spring tournaments is usually 11-12lbs. Even in the summer months the big fish is 8-10lbs. on average. These hybrids are a great thing. Our 60 years old state record of 14.5 lbs was broken in February with a bass of 15.2lbs. The state record bass was one of the original F-1 bass that were stocked 14-15 years ago. I fully expect that record to be broken again this spring. It would not surprise me for it to be rebroken every spring for the next 3-4 years or so, until natural mortality rates begin to catch up with our giants. Everyone should us these hybrids... Great use of money. Thanks.

Man, that looks great for fish health!

Our biggest gripe with it is the ducks avoid the pond through the summer months when its thickest on the pond, so they come up to the chicken pen and dirty up the chickens water!!!!!!!

So how do you get rid of this stuff??? My parents pond has had this since they bought the place and we want it gone! It blocks off the sun light so no other water plants grow, no other water plants grow so very low oxygen so our pond can't support fish.... Plus our ducks avoid swimming most of the summer because of this stuff....
